00:00Previously, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
00:06It's time to let go of the past.
00:09Redoing the living room is a real step in the right direction.
00:12Oh, I love this.
00:14You feel like there's any pressure because you're like,
00:16okay, Keely really wants a kid.
00:18If I want to carry a baby myself,
00:20I don't have a lot of time to do that.
00:22I didn't think he'd be doing what he's doing now.
00:24Well, what is he doing?
00:25Just, I'm going to stop paying this
00:27and you're going to be liable for this.
00:29You have to protect yourself.
00:30You have to go. This is not my partner.
00:32Yes. This is my adversary now.
00:35I am going to Augusta to see my mother.
00:39I thought, baby, you might want to join us.
00:42This is gorgeous.
00:44Hello, great to see you.
00:46I really want to fix my relationship with my mother now.
00:49I feel like it's a bit strained.
00:51You just want her to acknowledge, like, I'm proud of you.
00:54I want her to respect me.
00:56Maybe that's what I'm actually looking for,
00:58respect.
01:05These hills have eyes and they're all staring at me.
01:10I honor my fine Southern manners by putting you in your place.
01:16I've been in the game too long to play by someone else's rules.
01:23In Beverly Hills, money buys a lot,
01:26but my independence, priceless.
01:29Introducing the greatest product I've ever marketed, myself.
01:35I might look like a doll, but don't wind me up.
01:52Got to put some makeup on.
01:54Where would I have taken off my diamonds?
01:59I'll meet you in the bathroom.
02:03All right, Augusta, here we go.
02:09Hey, you've been running?
02:11I've been running.
02:12Oh.
02:12I have a bone to pick with your daughter.
02:14She told me to go around the house and make a left,
02:19and then to go left on Henry.
02:21There was no Henry.
02:22Well, Henry's back there.
02:25In fact, you go to the cemetery the way you were going.
02:28You would have run to China and back without seeing.
02:31But don't go ever again this late.
02:33When I used to run, I used to run at 536.
02:36You're very strong mentally.
02:37I am very strong mentally.
02:39Yeah.
02:40I blame that on my father.
02:41I was his favorite child,
02:44so he taught me how to be very strong and independent.
02:47What sign are you?
02:47Cancer.
02:48But I'm not a typical cancer.
02:50I told this to my friend last week.
02:52I said, I'm not a nurturer.
02:53She said, she laughed.
02:55You're not a nurturer?
02:56No.
02:57Hi, Miss Reba.
02:58Hello.
02:58You will be joining us for brunch.
03:01Brunch?
03:01I thought we were having breakfast.
03:03Well, it's turned into brunch.
03:05Yes, I see that.
03:06Well, I don't have my watch.
03:07I'm going to go take a shower.
03:08Yes, you go.
03:08It's so nice talking with you.
03:10I'll talk to you.
03:10You would want to go get dressed and come back for brunch.
03:14Dressed?
03:15Yeah.
03:16Why am I getting dressed?
03:17We're having a proper brunch.
03:18I'm fully dressed right now.
03:20Oh, OK.
03:21I just thought if you want to go fluff up a little bit.
03:24No, I don't.
03:25Oh, OK.
03:27All right.
03:27I'll see you in a few minutes.
03:29OK.
03:29Sutton, I'm going down.
03:31I'm here.
03:32Oh, what are you doing?
03:33Checking up on this grit.
03:35We don't want to get burnt.
03:36Where are we eating, outside?
03:38No, right over here.
03:40Oh, nice.
03:40Yeah.
03:41So then let's set up.
03:43I was just going to wait for Sutton's direction,
03:45set the table, because, you know.
03:48Yeah, I got it.
03:49Yeah.
03:50We love her.
03:51And we don't want to mess the chakras today.
03:53No.
03:54Not today.
03:55I was talking to your mom.
03:57Uh-huh.
03:58She's so great.
04:01She's very interesting.
04:02And I understand more about her just in the little conversation
04:05that I had.
04:06What did you learn?
04:06She had a very tough dad.
04:08He taught her to be strong.
04:09He told me she was not a nurturer.
04:11She said that?
04:13Yeah.
04:14You got that out of her?
04:16Yeah.
04:17She's aware of that.
04:19Yeah.
04:21How long was your dad not well for?
04:23I noticed it when I was, like, 25, 26.
04:28I was in my 20s when I got the call, you need to come home.
04:33And it was very surprising for me.
04:35Like, I didn't understand my father, who was our rock,
04:39could be starting to break.
04:42We put him in the hospital twice.
04:44Really?
04:44I didn't know that.
04:45Oh, yeah.
04:46And I'm talking, put him in the car,
04:48like, shoved him in the car.
04:50And what was going on with him?
04:52Just depressive state.
04:53He was on those drugs.
04:55And for depression.
04:56Did he drink at that time?
04:58Sleeping pills.
04:59He was suffering from chronic depression.
05:03They had him on all these pills just
05:04to try to regulate stuff that wasn't working.
05:07He would go on and off of them for years.
05:10And then he would self-medicate with alcohol.
05:13He was very confused.
05:15Talking a lot about how he wanted to kill himself.
05:20Didn't know what day it was.
05:22But he never went to therapy.
05:26It was just so disjointed, his treatment, his non-treatment.
05:32You passed when you were 31?
05:3432.
05:35So six years.
05:36Yeah.
05:37My father shot himself in December of 22, so 2002.
05:47December 2002 is when he killed himself.
05:52You're lucky to have your mom.
05:55How many minutes has that been in there, an hour?
05:58Well, could you tell me if this is, can I take it out?
06:01Does that look good to you?
06:02Or should I put it on?
06:03The only thing you're doing is heating it up.
06:04Do you realize that?
06:05I don't want to overcook them.
06:06You don't want dry grits.
06:08Turn it off.
06:09That's what I asked, but OK.
06:13What are these forks for?
06:15If someone wanted to cut a slice of cake.
06:18Oh.
06:22Didn't you want a drink?
06:23What am I making you?
06:24What do you have?
06:25OK.
06:26Would you like a ticket?
06:27How are you? You look good.
06:28Oh, thank you. You look wonderful.
06:30Would you like a vodka lemonade?
06:32No.
06:33What else do you got?
06:35I could do a Bloody Mary.
06:37I can definitely do that, yes.
06:38How'd you sleep?
06:41I think I slept pretty well.
06:43I was just telling Obby that I don't like that nice.
06:51Let me just say this.
06:53Apple tree.
06:55Did you make that, Obby?
06:57Where's the dressing?
06:58It's on the way.
06:59He only has two hands, son.
07:01Maybe we want water and tea.
07:06I need white jeans, and I can't find them,
07:08so I have to go buy some.
07:10And I don't like this plastic hanger.
07:11We know this.
07:12Reba Sutton.
07:14A little awkward, but somehow lovable.
07:19So you're still working as a therapist, right?
07:22I'm quitting in September.
07:23How come?
07:24I mean, I'm 82.
07:26Shall we sit on the porch?
07:27Yeah, I would love it.
07:28I love the porch.
07:28Cheers, Reba.
07:30Oh, thank you.
07:31You want some ice?
07:32No, I'm good.
07:33You know, being tropical, I don't really have a lot of ice.
07:36Oh, well, you aren't English, that's for sure.
07:39What?
07:41This is so lovely.
07:42Thank you for indulging us in this.
07:46I have such an affinity for your daughter.
07:48I think she would give the shirt off her back.
07:50Do you know what I mean?
07:50She's just generous, and I think that comes from you.
07:52And she's always been like that.
07:54Well, I'm so happy we're having this one-on-one time together,
07:56and I wanted to talk to you because Sutton and I have
07:58had intimate conversations.
08:01I know she loves me.
08:03I just don't ever feel like she likes me.
08:08And I don't feel like I've ever made her
08:10proud or happy as a daughter.
08:15You know, she's so proud of how far she's come,
08:19and she would just love to hear you say that you're proud of her
08:23and that you love her, too.
08:29I feel like I can say something to you.
08:30I don't think that's any of your business.
08:34I don't want to insult you, but I think you have no clue.
08:39You're right.
08:40I don't.
08:40I don't.
08:41I haven't lived with you guys.
08:42I haven't grown up with her.
08:44I don't know.
08:44You're right.
08:45I was just coming from a caring friend.
08:48Oh, you're giving me a message?
08:49Is that it?
08:51Maybe I am.
08:52Maybe I am the messenger.
08:55Why don't we transfer some flowers from the living room
08:57and put them on this table?
08:58Great idea.
08:59Hello?
09:00Hello?
09:01Everything looks so nice.
09:02Is anyone down here yet to eat?
09:04Garcelle's talking to mom.
09:05What?
09:06Yep.
09:08That room.
09:09Right there.
09:11I mean, I think for me, my mom being gone,
09:13I miss her so much, and I wish there
09:14were things that I had said to her.
09:15Death is final, isn't it?
09:17Yes, it is.
09:18You can't call your mother up and say da-da-da-da-da-da.
09:21No.
09:22And I miss, I wish I could.
09:23I would give anything to do that.
09:25Would y'all like to join us for brunch?
09:27Yes, you look so cute.
09:30No, we've only been waiting since 8 o'clock.
09:33Why do you say things like that, mom?
09:35To show you love.
09:37Oh, OK.
09:38We all joke around that Reba's tough,
09:41and Sutton obviously knows her mom's tough.
09:43Ma'am, thank you for your time.
09:45Oh, you're welcome.
09:46That'll be $1,000.
09:48Somewhere along the way, Reba got really hurt and shut down.
09:52And that's what we're seeing.
09:55No, I know.
09:56I feel I know why.
09:58Sutton had a relationship with her dad
09:59that she didn't have with her mom.
10:02I think there was some jealousy there.
10:05What?
10:07No.
10:07Let's eat.
10:08Great.
10:09This is a great color.
10:10They gave those to me because I ordered like 100 napkins.
10:13Oh.
10:14Oh, yeah.
10:14Oh.
10:15Oh, yeah.
10:18Oh, gosh.
10:19It's so nice.
10:20Maybe we should move those.
10:21We did it to be pretty.
10:22Do you want me to, here, give it to me.
10:23Do you mind?
10:24We put them, that wasn't a good idea.
10:25I'll put it over there.
10:26They look pretty for a second.
10:27This is so nice.
10:28Does anybody have any of these grits?
10:30Oh, it's hot. Oh, good.
10:30Oh, these grits are good.
10:32You didn't have any.
10:35OK, never mind.
10:36OK.
10:39Some people eat them with sugar, but I don't get that.
10:41Only northern people.
10:43I love your home so much.
10:45I love all the houses in Augusta.
10:47They're all kind of different.
10:48The house where we grew up was built in 1933?
10:511938.
10:521938.
10:53So I was thinking that I might take them by and see it.
10:59It's just around the corner.
11:01It is just around the corner.
11:04I want to go back to my childhood home.
11:05There's one big reason.
11:06I want to show Kyle and Garcelle where I grew up,
11:09because I did love that house.
11:11And it was wonderful.
11:13All of us had great memories in that house
11:16until December 23, 2002.
11:22So we're going to go see that house today.
11:24Yeah.
11:25And we're going inside.
11:26No, we're not going inside.
11:27Somebody lives there.
11:29Well, we might ring the doorbell.
11:31Oh, Horace, no.
11:32You don't want to go inside?
11:33I'm definitely not going.
11:34Are you coming with us?
11:35No.
11:38So when my dad shot himself, my mother was home.
11:41She was in the kitchen.
11:42She knew that he was taking sleeping pills.
11:44He was taking Xanax.
11:45He was self-medicating with alcohol.
11:47There was a loaded gun in the house,
11:49and he shot himself right then and there.
11:51So maybe I do have a little pinned-up resentment.
11:57There, I said it.
12:00All right, so what's next?
12:01We've been sitting here a long time.
12:03Thank you for this.
12:03This is really, really yummy.
12:06Has your mom tried to deal with this at all?
12:09No.
12:14I don't know.
12:15I don't know.
12:16I don't know.
12:16I don't know.
12:17I don't know.
12:18I don't know.
12:19I don't know.
12:20I don't know.
12:23No, no, no.
12:26I'm going to go grab my purse upstairs.
12:27Where are you going?
12:28We're going to go see the house.
12:30Oh.
12:32That's a lot I just said.
12:34We don't talk about this.
12:38I'll give you a full report.
12:39I don't want one.
12:40How the hell did these things go?
12:43Coming up, at my age, it would be better to have
12:47a child sooner rather than later.
12:49How do you feel about that?
13:08Hi.
13:09There you are.
13:11Are you ready?
13:11OK, well, first off, this place is a disaster.
13:14But look at what's happening in here.
13:17Ah!
13:18Oh, my god.
13:20The cabana's getting evasive.
13:22The cabana is getting a whole new life.
13:26The wallpaper is going to go in over the weekend.
13:28But wait.
13:29OK.
13:30Boom.
13:31Ah!
13:32Look at what some paint will do for a hallway.
13:36It's so exciting, Duri.
13:38I've been under a microscope since the day I left Tom.
13:41You know, financially, socially, emotionally.
13:45I couldn't have done anything right.
13:47So God forbid I spend anything I make.
13:50No way.
13:51You put a bow?
13:53I am blown away.
13:55I mean, there were some people that
13:56said I shouldn't even be able to work and have money.
14:00I've always loved this little house.
14:01But the energy has changed so much.
14:03You know, I just can't thank Martin enough.
14:06Like, this is huge for me.
14:08And you deserve it.
14:09Thanks.
14:10I appreciate that.
14:11After four to almost five years of hell,
14:15I'm excited about life again.
14:18And I feel really good about that.
14:20Because that's a signal to myself that you're
14:23returning back to normal.
14:25You're getting there.
14:26You're slowly making your way back
14:27to a place that you recognize.
14:30I'm not someone that sleeps till noon.
14:32And I was.
14:33I was sleeping till noon.
14:35If I got out of the bed.
14:37It's been a journey.
14:37And I feel good about it.
14:38You know?
14:41I got us some snacks.
14:43Ooh.
14:44This is so fancy.
14:45Look at what I got.
14:46This is white chocolate.
14:47This is caramel.
14:48And these are brownies.
14:49That's some sort of donut hole.
14:51And then these are some sort of cookie stick.
14:53Ooh, I'm so excited.
14:54Wait, these look so good.
14:56Girl, you're not supposed to eat it just like that.
14:58You're supposed to dip it.
14:59No. Oh.
15:00OK, wait.
15:00Do we need any tea?
15:02No.
15:02No.
15:03No.
15:04No.
15:05No.
15:06No.
15:06No.
15:07No.
15:08No.
15:09No.
15:10No.
15:10Tea?
15:12Yeah.
15:12Or something to drink?
15:15Here you go.
15:16Well, you can put it right here.
15:17Yeah.
15:19Leon and I are really, really tight.
15:22It's just been her and I for 10 years.
15:24You know what I do affects her, what she does affects me.
15:27There's no one else.
15:29What's been going on?
15:30Volleyball and my friends.
15:33Your little friends.
15:35Why do you say it like that?
15:36What, your little friends?
15:37Yeah.
15:38Do you want me to say your big friends?
15:39My what?
15:40Are we your big friends?
15:42Big friends are good.
15:44Look, I realize that I brought up a very serious topic
15:48while we were working out.
15:50I do think it's important that you get to know Keeley
15:52because, you know, we're getting serious
15:54and I want you to have a good relationship with him.
15:56Yeah.
15:57Wait, quick question.
15:58Yeah.
15:59How long have you been dating Mr. Keeley?
16:01Oh, uh, eight months.
16:02Because you told me in December.
16:04Yeah.
16:05But I don't know if you guys were officially dating yet.
16:07You just said you were friends
16:08and then you gave me eyebrows,
16:09so I didn't know exactly what that meant.
16:12You were like,
16:13so one of my, um, friends
16:16is coming, um, to Ghana.
16:19Girl, why are you imitating me like that?
16:21That's not how I talk.
16:22You probably didn't,
16:23but I didn't know if you guys were, like, dating-dating.
16:25Yeah, we were dating-dating.
16:26At that point, I mean,
16:27a man's gonna fly all the way,
16:28halfway across the world to see you.
16:30The first time Lael met Keeley
16:32was when he spontaneously showed up in Ghana.
16:35And I had to quickly explain to her that, like,
16:37okay, so this guy I'm dating is coming to visit us.
16:40And she was like, where? In Ghana?
16:43And I'm like, yeah!
16:45Things, by the way, are moving for me and for Keeley
16:48in a way that is surprising for all of us, you know?
16:51And as you know, your mom is not a spring chicken.
16:57Okay.
16:58And at my age, it would be better for us
17:01if we wanted to have a child
17:03to do it sooner rather than later.
17:06How do you feel about that?
17:08Um...
17:12I feel good about it.
17:13Really?
17:14I feel okay with it, yeah.
17:15Tell me why you're okay with it.
17:17Like, I don't want you to be...
17:22I'm thinking of the right words.
17:24Use any words.
17:25Um, I'll be leaving,
17:28and then you won't have, like, a kid to raise anymore.
17:31Hmm.
17:32Do you want me to have a kid
17:33because you're afraid I'm gonna be lonely?
17:35Mm-mm.
17:36I think our bond is changing, but not in a bad way,
17:39in, like, an evolving way.
17:41And now I kind of want you to share that bond
17:43with someone else.
17:44Hmm. Okay.
17:45I am shocked at this response.
17:50I didn't...
17:51I don't even know how she came to this.
17:55Where is my baby, who threw a tantrum
17:58when I suggested that there'd be another sibling?
18:01I'm just so thankful that she's open to this.
18:05And what about Keeley?
18:07Well, I think we kind of did it backwards.
18:09I'm like, would you accept a baby?
18:11Then I'm like, would you accept Keeley?
18:13I'm like, no, I would not, actually.
18:15You're like, I want you to have the baby on your own.
18:17No, no, no.
18:19Well, I love you.
18:20I love you, too.
18:21Coming up...
18:22I remember when he died, I wouldn't come in this room.
18:25Because this is him.
18:28Yeah.
18:32Oh!
18:36Hi, Reba.
18:37She can talk.
18:38I'm obsessed with your mom.
18:40Whoa!
18:41Okay, I'll go on the other side.
18:43No, no, I can help you.
18:44No, no, no, no, it's okay.
18:45No, I'm right here.
18:46I'm literally, like...
18:47These people are expecting us, right?
18:49Yeah.
18:50My good friend,
18:51who knows the current owners, arranged it.
18:53Oh, okay.
18:55We should take a left here.
18:56It's so beautiful.
18:58Now, look, this was the hill.
18:59We would ride our bikes down the hill,
19:00and it seemed so big to me when I was little.
19:02This is like a scene out of Forrest Gump.
19:04This is the one part of the trip that I'm not looking forward to,
19:07because the last place she saw her dad.
19:09I don't know what the emotions are gonna be like.
19:12Um, and that scares me.
19:15Oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, oh, God.
19:18Okay.
19:20Okay.
19:21Oh, should we get out?
19:22I don't know.
19:23What?
19:24Are you changing your mind?
19:25Yeah.
19:26You okay?
19:27Yeah.
19:29I mean, it's just a house, you know?
19:33No, it's got memories.
19:35I know.
19:40No, um, do I just walk in the gate?
19:44Yes, go ahead.
19:45Oh, okay.
19:46Oh, wow, okay.
19:47Okay.
19:49Hi.
19:50Hi.
19:51How are you?
19:52Good.
19:53How are you?
19:54I'm fine.
19:55Thank you for letting us come in.
19:56Oh, it's our pleasure.
19:57I'm Sutton.
19:58I'm Marnie.
19:59Nice to meet you, Marnie.
20:00Okay, I'm just gonna warn you, there might be some tears.
20:03That's okay.
20:04Of course.
20:05We want you to just walk through the house.
20:07Okay.
20:08And just take as much time and, yeah, just...
20:10That's really sweet of you.
20:11This is almost sort of the last step for me
20:14in my healing journey about my father.
20:17Thank you again for letting us do that.
20:19Thank you so much.
20:21Yes.
20:22Aww.
20:23I want to say goodbye to him.
20:27I loved him so much and miss him every day.
20:33Well, I'll show you my room first.
20:36I changed this bed from here to here, here to here.
20:39If only we'd have a little variety in our lifestyle.
20:41Exactly.
20:42Move the beds.
20:43It's a good room.
20:45The breakfast room is really different.
20:48You know, I had the great privilege of being a daddy's girl.
20:53He didn't say a lot, but he liked me being in the kitchen with him,
20:56you know, making chili.
20:59Mom was a terrible cook.
21:01She did, like, frozen fish sticks.
21:04So it went from really great food to really terrible food.
21:06The bed's moved a lot.
21:08It's a nice-sized room.
21:09Yeah.
21:10This is my parents' room, yeah.
21:11I always liked these scrambled egg sandwiches he would make
21:14on white bread with mayonnaise.
21:16People think they sound disgusting, but they are delicious.
21:19We just were very close.
21:22This was cool because my dad designed it
21:25and he also built it.
21:26Wow.
21:27And there was a wood-burning stove.
21:30He would actually make pancakes on that thing.
21:32What was your dad's name again?
21:33John T.
21:34But I'm going to tell you all something.
21:38This is the last spot where I saw my dad alive.
21:43And I can remember it so clearly.
21:45I was leaving for one of our last dance performances, actually,
21:49and I remember saying goodbye to him, and I tugged on his toe.
21:54He was real sick.
21:56Got him very out of it.
21:58And he died the next day.
22:01Whenever I would pass the sofa in high school or whenever,
22:04he would always hold his hand out and I would slap and he'd do that.
22:09He'd give me a thumbs-up sometimes.
22:11And he was on that sofa and he was out of it.
22:16And I was leaving and he didn't put his hand out.
22:23And it was a little strange, and so I just grabbed his big toe
22:28and kind of pulled on it, and that was the last time I saw him.
22:35And I just, you know, those moments where you think,
22:38I should have, like, sat with him or something.
22:44Like beyond the tug toe.
22:48I would come here to get some wine for the party after the performance,
22:52and just those little moments.
22:55See, this is weird.
22:57I wish I had sat down, even for five minutes,
23:01and I feel really bad that I didn't.
23:05That was just so selfish of me.
23:10Just five minutes.
23:13Last time I saw him.
23:16I remember when he died, I wouldn't come in this room.
23:18It took me months.
23:22I would stand over there, I couldn't come in.
23:25Because this is him.
23:28Yeah.
23:30You never know.
23:31No.
23:32Oh, you okay?
23:33Yeah.
23:36I can't believe Mom said, when I said I'll give you the full report,
23:39she said, I don't want it.
23:40I don't want it.
23:41It's probably painful for her too.
23:43Of course.
23:44I think that my mother has had a rough go since my dad's death,
23:49or maybe before.
23:51And I want the next phase of my mother's life to be happy and peaceful
24:01and fun and not strained.
24:04This is like years of therapy that I didn't have to pay for.
24:08She means a lot to me.
24:11And I want to make things right.
24:15Things have not been right since my father died.
24:18Thank y'all.
24:19Y'all enjoy it.
24:20Coming out with a smile.
24:22That was way more than I ever expected that to be.
24:25Me too, me too, me too.
24:40Hi, how are you?
24:41Table for three.
24:42Right over there.
24:43Perfect.
24:44Could I grab some water while you're waiting?
24:45Yes, some still would be great.
24:46Absolutely, I'll be right back.
24:47Thank you so much.
24:48You're very welcome.
24:49Hey, Boothing.
24:50Hey.
24:51How you doing?
24:52Oh, my goodness, I love it.
24:53Oh, you look so beautiful.
24:54Oh, that looks fantastic.
24:55Well, hello there.
24:56Hello.
24:57How are you?
24:58I'm good.
24:59How are you?
25:00I'm good.
25:01How are you?
25:02I'm good.
25:03How are you?
25:04I'm good.
25:05How are you?
25:06I'm good.
25:07How are you?
25:08I'm good.
25:09I'm good.
25:10I'm good.
25:11I love it.
25:12Hello.
25:13Yes.
25:14Hello, gorgeous girls.
25:15You look great.
25:16Hi, Boothing.
25:17Where are you going after this?
25:18I know.
25:19Look, the girls need to get out.
25:20You look hot.
25:21Celebrating life.
25:22Thank you so much.
25:24By the way, here's a drink menu if you need it.
25:25Oh, thank you.
25:26She's going to have the same old thing.
25:27Yes, I am.
25:28Belvedere soda with three lemons and no rinds.
25:34You're welcome.
25:35Have you guys seen each other since Kathy?
25:36No.
25:37By the way, I had a nice time.
25:38Oh, I had a great time.
25:39I was just like, now see, this table setting right here,
25:41I don't even know where to begin.
25:44How beautiful.
25:45Oh my gosh, this is absolutely beautiful.
25:47I've got to change my place setting.
25:51What do you recommend?
25:52Definitely Best Sellers up top are going to be
25:54the Great Woodfire Pizza oven for our pizza course.
25:56All our pastas are made fresh in house daily.
25:58You want a pizza?
25:59Let's get a pizza.
26:00Thank you so much.
26:01You're very welcome.
26:02Could I grab you another drink?
26:04Gotcha.
26:05I have to update you on so many things.
26:06Do it right now.
26:07Oh, God.
26:09Okay, so...
26:11Y'all are some really ridiculous people.
26:14Okay, so...
26:16Keely and I have talked about having a baby.
26:18We've actually never said the words I love you
26:20to each other.
26:21Wait a minute.
26:22Look at both of you.
26:23Look at both of you.
26:24Whoa!
26:25Okay, that's the new information.
26:26Hold on.
26:27I need 10 moments.
26:28Whoa!
26:29I need two moments.
26:30Why not?
26:31Why I want him to say it first.
26:32I want to know that that's what he's feeling.
26:35I can hear that.
26:36I feel that.
26:37I do love him.
26:38I'm sure you do.
26:39And there are moments when I want to say it.
26:41Yes.
26:42And I'm like...
26:43He has to say it first.
26:44I kind of agree.
26:45No disrespect, but having a baby,
26:48but not telling the man I love you...
26:52Okay.
26:54Then, all right.
26:55What are we doing?
26:57Slider, margarita pizza.
27:00That looks delicious.
27:01Thank you so much, sweetheart.
27:03What do you think is going on?
27:04I don't know.
27:05I think it's as simple as...
27:06Keeley, do you think it's weird
27:07that we haven't said I love you to one another?
27:09No, I'm not saying that.
27:10Hell no.
27:11What are you, nuts?
27:12No, because I don't want him to be...
27:13Oh, no, but I love you.
27:14Don't do what she said.
27:15And then I feel like...
27:16That's not a good idea.
27:17That's not a good idea.
27:18Don't force the situation.
27:19Sure.
27:20I am acting on the belief that Keeley loves me.
27:23I know he's going to say the words.
27:25It's...
27:26We love each other.
27:27I know that.
27:28Do you consider that you are dating for marriage?
27:30Yeah, that's the only reason I date.
27:33Where are we in that process?
27:34It is me and you.
27:35Right.
27:36So why not continue the conversations
27:38about baby and marriage and our future
27:42while we build the words together?
27:46I don't see anything wrong with that, really.
27:49You guys have spoke to PK.
27:50What?
27:51Mm-hmm.
27:52Wait, what?
27:53How are we...
27:54You mother...
27:55How are we even in this conversation?
27:56Okay, wait a second.
27:57What did he say?
27:58I picked up the phone and we start talking
28:02like we're friends.
28:04No, you didn't.
28:05This is a lie.
28:06I mean, where's my lipstick?
28:10I'm talking to him
28:12and there is the father of my children.
28:15Uh-huh.
28:16The man that I believed no longer existed.
28:20Let me not...
28:21I don't want you to get confused.
28:22I'm not.
28:23Erica, this is not a reconciliation.
28:26So what was it?
28:27This was very much...
28:28I asked him, I said,
28:29I need you to just slow down a little bit.
28:31Okay.
28:32And let's just communicate.
28:33We can't be at war and the kids be okay.
28:37This is about you and not about the kids.
28:40You're asking him to slow down
28:42because you want to catch your breath.
28:44It's not about the kids.
28:45I need you...
28:46You're absolutely right,
28:47but you have to understand something.
28:48Yeah.
28:49Catching my breath is about the kids.
28:51Guys, I want to explain it so it's not a confusing...
28:55No, I'm just trying to ask where you...
28:56No, it's not confusing at all.
28:57I'm trying to ask where you ended up.
28:59The conversation was a hell of a lot
29:02better and different than I thought it would be.
29:04It feels like a trick.
29:09No, that I can guarantee you.
29:11All right.
29:12Because he's not that person.
29:16So who is that person?
29:18That's PK raging.
29:23Stop side-eyeing.
29:25PK is ruthless.
29:26He's ruthless in business,
29:27which means he will be ruthless in the business of divorce.
29:31I keep yelling from the mountaintops,
29:34hey, you need to take shelter.
29:37No one is listening to me.
29:39He needs to calm you down.
29:41This is the art of war right here.
29:43He needs to calm you down so that you don't act
29:46and so he can act.
29:47But what does that mean though?
29:49What advantage does that...
29:50Of course there's an advantage.
29:51I don't understand the advantage.
29:52The advantage is that he wants to have the upper hand.
29:55If you are cornered like any animal,
29:58you are going to strike.
30:00He is afraid of how smart you are
30:02and how you will strike.
30:03He's calming you down so he can run the bases on you.
30:06Correct.
30:07Because legally he can't go around town
30:09and scoop up everybody
30:10so that you don't have good counsel.
30:12Dorit needs to keep her eyes open.
30:15A divorce is gonna come.
30:16It's gonna take her totally by surprise.
30:18She's going to get the shorter end of the stick.
30:20You can't just stand still
30:22and wait for him to do things to you.
30:26You can't be a victim.
30:27You think this is a game?
30:29Yes!
30:30Wake up!
30:31Whoa!
30:32I was just saying.
30:33Holy s***.
30:41Coming up...
30:42Why would you think I wouldn't be proud of you?
30:44Because you don't say it.
30:45I don't need to.
30:59Hi.
31:00Hey.
31:01Do you have that Parmesan cheese?
31:02See, I couldn't open up your messages
31:05about those ingredients.
31:07Why don't you go in the kitchen
31:08and look at the ingredients
31:10and see if you need anything.
31:12Okay.
31:13See you soon.
31:16Hello?
31:17Hi.
31:18Hi, I'm just going outside.
31:19It's beautiful here.
31:20We had a little dinner,
31:22the girls and I, the other night.
31:24See the flowers?
31:25Yes, beautiful.
31:27But don't forget you're on a FaceTime
31:29that don't put the phone to your ear.
31:31Oh, okay.
31:32Okay.
31:33So, I'm sitting outside.
31:35I'm getting late.
31:36Hold on a minute.
31:37Am I doing this right?
31:38Yeah, now I see the top of your hat.
31:40By the way, Mo and Portia leave today for Europe.
31:43Portia and I travel to London.
31:45We're picking up her best friend,
31:47and then we're going to go to either Madrid
31:50or to Mallorca.
31:52He's dropping her off,
31:53you know, like a guided tour.
31:56And then he goes off for, like, four days
31:58to, like, Switzerland for, like, a meditation thing,
32:01and then he goes to meet P.K. and Glenn in Saint-Tropez.
32:08Zen, and then go off and party and undo it all.
32:10I know.
32:11Hi.
32:12Where's your mother?
32:16Sutton!
32:17Let's go find your mother.
32:19Let's go.
32:20Did my mother text you?
32:21No.
32:23She didn't get my, um...
32:27I need...
32:28There's no bread.
32:29Oh, okay.
32:30Mom got that.
32:32Gluten-free?
32:34I asked for a very specific kind.
32:37Then I needed...
32:39Cucumber.
32:40No cucumber in a salad.
32:42Then this, no.
32:43How can I help?
32:44Hi.
32:45You can't.
32:46I'm just checking on these groceries.
32:47Where's Reba?
32:48So I texted her, and she couldn't read it.
32:52She couldn't open up my notes.
32:53I said, once, when you get on your Wi-Fi,
32:55you could open it.
32:56It just needs to download.
32:57I thought she got it done.
32:59Go back.
33:00I don't care.
33:01I was very, very, very specific.
33:03I love crab cakes.
33:05My dad always made the best crab cakes.
33:08The best.
33:09And he gave me his recipe.
33:10Asparagus.
33:11I need iceberg lettuce.
33:12That is the most important part.
33:14My mother loved them so much when he would make them.
33:19Even the day after he died,
33:21she made me make them for Christmas Eve supper.
33:25I burned them.
33:27We have to have the iceberg lettuce.
33:30I'll run and get it.
33:31Come in.
33:33Sutton's a little stressed out.
33:35I don't know how it's going to go.
33:37I told her I have zero expectations.
33:39This is about getting it off her chest, and that's it.
33:41Right.
33:42The woman's 82 years old.
33:43It's not about changing her.
33:44No.
33:45Sutton is a little on edge,
33:47and I think that's understandable.
33:49She has been putting off this conversation
33:51that she has wanted to have with her mom for a long time.
33:55So I think it's really building up, and she's scared.
33:59That's what this is all about.
34:00She's scared.
34:02I'm waiting on my mother.
34:04Should we send Cheryl to go check up on her?
34:07Cheryl, could you go check up on Reva, please?
34:09Okay.
34:12Okay, Dixie, I'm leaving you for a while,
34:14but I'll be back in a little while.
34:16So don't worry.
34:18She's ready for you to come over.
34:21Well, I'm on the way.
34:24Okay.
34:25Bye, Dixie.
34:29Whoo!
34:30Welcome to the humidity.
34:35Hello.
34:36Hello.
34:37I'm here.
34:38Good.
34:39Oh, some pickled okra?
34:44I love pickled okra.
34:47Do you want to have a seat?
34:49But, Avi, what are you doing?
34:55Sit.
34:56I'll make the crabmeat patties while we're talking.
34:58This is my capsule collection.
35:02This is your what?
35:03My capsule collection.
35:05This is what we've been working on.
35:07This is my all-sustainable green line
35:10that IG for Sutton brings.
35:11Oh, yes, right.
35:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:13For the past two and a half years,
35:14I've been working very hard on my new business.
35:16We have started Sutton Green Line.
35:19And under that, I'm going to do a series of capsules.
35:23I liked this skirt.
35:25I would wear this skirt.
35:26So all the pieces that Brian just showed us,
35:28those are our first capsule.
35:30It's part of the first capsule.
35:31For almost all of my life,
35:32I've been wanting acceptance from my mother.
35:36She was always a career woman.
35:38And I'm so proud of her.
35:41I just want it to be reciprocated.
35:43Is this real?
35:44Yes, it is real leather.
35:46Oh, this is a jumpsuit.
35:48It's a trench.
35:49Oh, really?
35:50It's really cute on, this jumpsuit.
35:53I just tried it on last week.
35:54It would look awful on me.
35:57Well, it's very complicated,
36:00and it's very intense work
36:03because every single piece that you see
36:06has a code that has to go to London
36:10because that's where they're based.
36:12Oh.
36:13And it's super fast,
36:14and it all ships out from Houston.
36:16It's not easy.
36:17That reminds me of ground beef.
36:21Ground beef is labeled made in the U.S.,
36:24and it's not.
36:25It's made in Cuba.
36:30I am going to take these products.
36:33I don't care what they are, where they're made,
36:35because I'm saving them from going to war.
36:37Well, I like that.
36:38Right, so it's not like ground beef.
36:40It's not anything like that.
36:41Okay, this is good.
36:42They're talking.
36:43They're only in the clothing part.
36:45Okay.
36:46Okay, but still.
36:47So I'm going to cut up some lettuce.
36:48She's listening.
36:49Real fast.
36:50What would you like to drink?
36:51Do you want me to help you?
36:52What would you like?
36:53No.
36:54You realize I live by myself.
36:57You want me to get up the crab meat?
37:01Yes or no?
37:02Yes, please.
37:03That would be great.
37:05What time are y'all leaving tomorrow?
37:06Our flight's at 2.30.
37:07At 2.30?
37:12Why are these spoons in here?
37:14Are we having caviar?
37:17No.
37:18Who put this ice into the ice maker?
37:21Don't tell me.
37:22I already know.
37:24Have you eaten yet?
37:25No.
37:26Well, I have these dip things.
37:28I don't like stuff like that.
37:34So I was talking to John Clark last night.
37:36I don't know if she gets me or understands what I do.
37:40Oh, I think so.
37:41Really?
37:42I mean, she didn't say that.
37:44You just have ESP?
37:46Yeah, you can tell.
37:47I can't tell.
37:49I feel like she's so guarded.
37:52Well, I mean, you know, she thinks about what she does for a living.
37:56I know, but we are not her patients.
37:59I was like, I just don't know if Mom understands what I do
38:02or is proud at all.
38:07Why?
38:08Why are you making that face?
38:09I don't understand that.
38:11You don't understand what?
38:12I don't understand any of that.
38:13Any of what?
38:14Why would you think I wouldn't be proud of you?
38:19I guess because you don't say it.
38:21I don't need to.
38:30Why would you think I wouldn't be proud of you?
38:34I guess because you don't say it.
38:36I don't need to.
38:41Well, maybe I need for you to.
38:42Well, okay, I'm proud of you.
38:45See, to me, it's kind of like saying I love you.
38:48It's so trite and so inconsequential, and people just say, oh, I love you.
38:53It's overused.
38:57I think your prelude to this point is I was the way I was
39:02because I always wanted to be a professional working woman,
39:06and that got impressed on you, and so you have actually become me
39:15as a professional working woman.
39:18Yeah, it just took me time because I wanted to stay home with the children.
39:22Oh, that's fine.
39:23Well, you gave me grief on it for a little bit.
39:26So what does that matter?
39:28You did it anyway.
39:30Yeah, and I don't think it's trite to tell your children that you're proud of them.
39:35I don't think it's trite to tell your children that you love them.
39:38You know, I've thought about that because that seems to be an issue
39:41with not only you but some of your friends.
39:44I have to go back to the way I was raised, which was WWII post,
39:50and in those days, like, nobody ever told me I was pretty when I was growing up,
39:56and it didn't matter whether I was pretty or ugly.
39:59I kept going because that was the way it was in those days.
40:04Remember, in those days, mothers put their babies in the crib and they cried.
40:09Okay, well, I guess if it's trite to you,
40:15I certainly don't want to make you do anything that is not real for you.
40:20I just wanted to let you know how I feel.
40:23Oh, thank you very much for telling me that.
40:26You know, I have my show.
40:28I'm doing a fashion show for this capsule, and it's a big deal for me.
40:34I know that you don't like to travel, but it would be really great if you could.
40:38I don't mind traveling at all.
40:42Okay, I might could come to California.
40:47I think I could do that.
40:50That would speak volumes to me.
40:56Does that mean I'd have to sleep in Phillip's room?
41:02Where would you like to sleep?
41:04I don't know, is the aquarium still in there?
41:06Because I can't sleep with that fish in there.
41:10I just want better.
41:12We can do better.
41:14I know we can.
41:15Yeah.
41:19I'm just, like, overwhelmed that she's saying we can do better,
41:24and it gives me such hope for our relationship going forward.
41:29I'm coming in for the hug.
41:30You don't have to hug me back, but I'm coming in.
41:32You just have to stand up.
41:33No, you don't.
41:34No, I'll hug you.
41:36And now I'm going to make crab cakes.
41:39That was a good one.
41:43What?
41:44Your hair was in my face.
41:48Okay.
41:49I'm going to bring my friends down.
41:52Excuse me, Mom.
41:57I'm calling you down.
41:58We're already down.
42:01What?
42:02Are you okay?
42:03Yes.
42:04It all went really well.
42:06Okay.
42:07It was very calm.
42:08Good.
42:09She's coming to the fashion show?
42:11I'm so proud of you.
42:12Yes.
42:14I'm exhausted.
42:15Do you feel better?
42:16I do.
42:17Actually, I do.
42:18Good.
42:19Okay, well, now I can make these crab cakes.
42:23Open wide.
42:29Well, dinner is ready.
42:30I smell crab cakes.
42:31I know.
42:32It smells really good.
42:33Sutton, I'm excited to try your crab cakes.
42:35Bon appetit.
42:36Thank you, Sutton.
42:37This salad is good.
42:40Good job.
42:41And I leave here with a smile on my face.
42:44And I want to be a better daughter.
42:47A friend.
42:48And a friend.
42:50Yeah, good.
42:52So I'm leaving y'all with cleanup duty.
