On Saturday night (17th), a training ship from the Mexican Navy collided with the iconic Brooklyn Bridge in New York, resulting in the deaths of two crew members and injuring at least 22 others. The vessel, identified as Cuauhtémoc, was carrying 277 people when it lost power, leading to the crash.
The impact was so severe that the ship’s 150-foot masts struck the bridge’s structure with force, breaking apart and sending debris into the waters of the East River. Dramatic footage of the moment captures the magnitude of the collision and the panic on board.
