00:58So we run Epic Adventures in Kiama, in Wollongong and in Shell Harbour.

01:29I'm a business strategist and growth consultant for female leaders in business.
01:33And it's been really exciting to have the connections and meet new connections to help
01:36evolve business in the Illawarra.

01:40Today, I have learnt quite a few things.
01:42I was on a panel about AI and how we use AI in tourism businesses.
01:47And I actually learnt a lot out of that panel as well.
01:49So there's a few new apps and a few new pieces of software that I'm going to go and
01:53start trying out.
01:54And I'm definitely going to start putting a bit more video into our businesses' social media.
01:58So, Sandra Mallon, Sky Accommodation.
02:00We do a lot with student accommodation, international and new immigrants and newcomers.
02:05And we start their journey.
02:06You know, they say wherever you go, if you've just got one thing that you take away, well,
02:10I actually took a few things away.

02:17So it's just great to network with new people in roles such as yourself and the new editor

02:28I'm the new tourism manager at Shell Harbour City Council or Destination Shell Harbour.
02:32Personally, I got a lot out of today.
02:34Mostly how we can work together.
02:38So real collaborations, not only with the other LGAs, but also with operators.
02:43Tomorrow I'm going on a whale watching cruise with a bunch of people from media so we can
02:46get that story about how awesome this region is.
02:49And then how we can leverage the region working together and bringing all of our
02:54skills and assets together to showcase this wonderful area that we call home.
02:59Oh my goodness, I've got the biggest smile on my face.
03:02We've had a really amazing day.
03:05I think the biggest thing for me is hearing the stories from operators saying that they've
03:10found a new connection or they've met a new person.
03:14The amount of hands that went up in the room when we asked who's met someone new.
03:19I think every single person in this room put their hand up and that is wonderful for me.
