“Tried to steal water…” CM Bhagwant Mann slams BBMB on water dispute between Punjab, Haryana

Nangal (Punjab), May 11, 2025 (ANI ) : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann accused Bhakra Beas Management Board of looting state’s water amid the ongoing water sharing dispute between Punjab and Haryana. He also stressed that he would not allow “BJP-led central government's conspiracy to succeed through BBMB in Nangal". “Haryana attempted to steal water once again. The people here foiled those attempts. But BJP sends Bhakra Beas Management Board here everyday. Punjab is fighting at the border. Where should we pay attention, there or here? BBMB come here every day. This is bad. But we won't let their conspiracies succeed”, he further said.
