“Sanatan Dharma follower will object,” Shankaracharya slams Rahul Gandhi over remarks on Manusmriti

Haridwar (Uttarakhand), May 06, 2025 (ANI): Jyotirmath Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati on May 06 slammed Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on Manusmriti and said how can he be a Hindu if he criticised Manusmṛti. “How can you be a Hindu if you criticise Manusmṛti? .... Any Sanatan Dharma follower will object to this,” said Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. “The government should ensure that the perpetrators are punished,” he added.
