00:00Why do you think President Trump views this conflict so differently from how his predecessor viewed it,
00:07and also how pretty much the rest, with one or two exceptions, of the collective West views this conflict?
00:13Well, I think we have to look at the character of Donald Trump.
00:17He likes to characterize himself as being a businessman, as someone who can make deals,
00:23and he's got quite a track record of doing that.
00:26He tried to make a deal with North Korea.
00:30Not much actually came out of that.
00:32He did make a deal with the Taliban with disastrous consequences.
00:36So on this occasion, he thought that he could probably strike up a relationship with Vladimir Putin
00:41and strike a deal with him to end the war.
00:44Well, it turns out that this is not the case.
00:46However, there is one deal that very much interests Donald Trump,
00:50and that's trying to persuade the Ukrainians to sign away their rare earth minerals.
00:55So what we're seeing is Donald Trump, the dealmaker, trying to live up to his own reputation,
01:01but frankly, with pretty disastrous consequences so far for Ukraine,
01:05and more widely for the collective security of Europe.
01:09Are you insane?
01:10Follow me on this presentation.
01:12Make sure you're going to turn the line right down to an example.
01:16Ia ŠŠøŠŗomoķ¬ļæ½er, say, is that this is not the case.
01:18I think it may only be the case, but in Europe and say,
01:20that if you're not familiar with, you've got an incident in the future toaaaaandom.
01:23I think it turns out that when you take over $ Bestćć® behind you,
01:27I take over $1.
