জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের প্রতিনিধিদল সরেজমিনে পরিস্থিতি খতিয়ে দেখলেন মালদহের অস্থায়ী আশ্রয় শিবিরে। জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের চেয়ারপার্সন টিমে ছিলেন খোদ বিজয়া কিশোর রাহাতকার। আর এই প্রতিনিধিদল প্রথমে অস্থায়ী আশ্রয় শিবিরে গিয়ে কথা বলেন আক্রান্ত ও ঘরছাড়া মহিলাদের সঙ্গে। আর এই কথা বলার উপর নির্ভর করেই তারা তৈরি করবেন রিপোর্ট। যা কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারকে দেবেন তাঁরা। এদিন ঘরছাড়া মহিলাদের কথা শুনে খানিকটা উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেন চেয়ারপার্সন। তিনি ঠিক কী বললেন শুনে নিন -

A delegation of the National Commission for Women inspected the situation on the spot in the temporary shelter camp in Malda.
