00:09of caring in adversity. Former national squash player Muhammad Kenneth Lowe, who was diagnosed

00:16with multiple sclerosis, has benefited from the kindness of strangers to cover his care and

00:21treatment since 2023, and he chose to pay it forward. He surprised golden race walker G.

00:29Saravanan, who was battling motor neuron disease, with a donation of RM500 at the University

00:35of Malaya Medical Center. The two had never met before. Saravanan said Kenneth's humble

00:42act embodied the spirit of sportsmanship and selflessness. He said moments like these can

00:49heal, bring communities together, and reflect the best of who we are as a nation. In stepping

00:55up for Saravanan, Kenneth reaffirmed that champions support one another long after the crowds have

01:02gone home. Saravanan, who is 55 next month, is living with MND, a condition which has robbed

01:08him of his strength, mobility, and clarity.

01:12The 1998 Commonwealth Games 50-kilometer walk gold medalist now requires treatment such as
