00:00Of course, people thought for months that it was inevitable that the Giants would take a quarterback, especially with that third pick in the draft.
00:09Apparently, though, that's just not the case anymore after signing Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
00:16Apparently, they're not in or maybe they are.
00:19They're just lying to us.
00:19But Joe Shane says he doesn't feel the urgency to go get himself a quarterback.
00:24With the signing of those two players, I think we put our position, ourself in a position where, you know, I don't think that's mandatory or something that we're, you know, our feet of the fire.
00:33We have to do, you know, I think the two guys we signed have played a lot of ball.
00:38They've got a lot of skins on the wall.
00:39And I do think we've upgraded that room, you know, compared to where it was a year ago.
00:44I like the two guys that we have.
00:45And, you know, Tommy's still in there and he's won games for us, too.
00:48And he's still developing, you know, so we're happy with the makeup of the room right now.
00:52What games have they won?
00:56They don't win ever.
00:58I mean, honestly, like, they're 10 years ago, Russell Wilson.
01:0110 years ago.
01:03A lot of skins on the wall.
01:04What does that mean?
01:06What?
01:07I don't even know what that is.
01:08What was that?
01:10I just can't even figure this guy out.
01:12I'll say this.
01:15Look, that is quite the quarterback room.
01:18One guy is slower than molasses.
01:21Another guy will sling it all over the football field and it don't matter who catches it.
01:26The team that he's throwing it to or the other team.
01:29It doesn't matter.
01:29He just throws it and see somebody has to catch it at some point.
01:34Let's see who catches it.
01:35Which jersey?
01:36And then the third guy, they're still trying to sell me Tommy Cutlets.
01:40I mean, honestly.
01:41He's developing.
01:42They do not need to draft a quarterback in this draft, I agree, because they've already
01:48got their quarterbacks.
01:49That's a done deal.
01:52Well, that's all fine and good.
01:55They're not drafting Sanders third.
01:58I don't believe that they are.
02:00And look, I don't think that necessarily any of these quarterbacks maybe were worth drafting
02:05in the top three.
02:07Or they couldn't get to one to get Ward, you know, who maybe was the only guy they liked.
02:11Whatever.
02:11But, you know, Mara seemed very definitive at the end of the season that these guys needed
02:18to win more next year.
02:21And I just don't see that with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
02:29I don't see this jump to eight, nine, ten wins off of where they were.
02:35And if you drafted a quarterback and he looked like he was going to be good, at the end of
02:40the year, even if it was bad, you could go to Mara and say, look, we have a future.
02:45Look at what we did with this kid.
02:46You go six and 11 with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
02:51Like, what are they?
02:52He bringing them back again?
02:54They get to go another round through?
02:57I don't know.
02:58No.
02:58And I'll tell you another thing.
02:59Look, I think Wilson is capable of being a 500 quarterback at best.
03:07That's it.
03:08We saw him.
03:09He was he lost his last five games.
03:12He was he he went six and six, right?
03:17That's what he did.
03:18And the bottom line is his fields went four and two.
03:20And I am I'm going to just stand by what I said.
03:23I went to the games.
03:24I saw this guy right in front of me, 50 feet away from me playing football.
03:29My seats are right on the field.
03:31And I have never seen anyone get in more trouble in the pocket than this guy.
03:36He is as slow as your grandmother when she goes shopping.
03:41If you go shopping with your grandma, you're there for an hour and a half.
03:44No matter what, you're going to be in every aisle forever.
03:47It's like walking your dog.
03:49Your dog wants to smell everything in every yard.
03:52He'll be there all day if you let him.
03:54The deal is the guy can't get out of the pocket and do anything.
03:57He can't run anymore.
03:59That means you're dead meat.
04:01He was dead meat in December.
04:03I've never seen anyone play worse in my life over a month than I saw that guy play.
04:07Honest to God.
04:09That's just all there is to it.
04:10And then we already know what Famous is good for.
04:15Cracking jokes.
04:16Because he's not a good quarterback.
04:19That's it.
04:20He throws too many picks.
04:22The guy is a liability.
04:24And Tommy Cutlett sucked from the day they got him.
04:27I don't want to hear it about this guy with all of his cutlets and all of his Italian-ness and that.
04:33It's nonsense.
04:34I'm not interested in that.
04:36I want to win football games.
04:37They won Super Bowls.
04:39And they're not winning with those guys.
04:40That's all there is to it.
04:42He's developing.
04:44He's developing.
