00:00Hi, everybody.
00:01It's so good to be with you.
00:02It's Brady Mettison.
00:03Happy birthday to you.
00:04I want to thank you all for taking time out of your day.
00:07I know that right now there is a lot of fear and anxiety, but I can feel the hope.
00:14And I know that right now there is a lot of fear and anxiety, but I can feel the hope
00:29and wellness for tonight, so I'm so grateful to have that.
00:34You all can inspire us to keep fighting and going back to Washington and doing what we need
00:39to do.
00:40So I want to thank you for showing up, for sticking out and fighting back.
00:44That's how we're going to get through this.
00:46I want to give Craig, who's taking care of my neighbor here, an applause.
00:51So Sam is on the trail with me.
00:58He comes with me.
00:59If you want to see him on the news, if you want to see him with me.
01:03I want to thank you for the welcome and welcome to the school.
01:06And I think I was surprised at that moment that what we did went so viral.
01:17I think it was not only women who felt themselves in me as a working mom trying to banish, taking
01:24care of my child, working in a hostile workplace, but also the hope that we all need right now
01:34to see somebody fighting back.
01:36So we're going to have a discussion, this is really about all of you, the questions that you have,
01:49making sure that we're able to answer it to the best of our ability.
01:53We know how much does that say right now.
01:56As I was traveling through Chanky County and coming from a way and hearing from businesses
02:02who are already hurting because of lack of tourism, because of the rhetoric at the top.
02:07People don't want to come to this country anymore.
02:10We know that the places in Chanky County, tourism is the lifeline for so many businesses.
02:16We heard from seniors who were worried about getting their social security check because they
02:21dismantled the administration that actually make sure that, you know, nobody has ever missed
02:28the payment from social security the entire term that has been, that has actually been available.
02:34So we have seniors who are concerned, we have business owners who are concerned.
02:39We have people who work on the most vulnerable kids in our community who know that Medicaid is
02:47the lifeline for so many of our kids, for our seniors, and also people who are worried about
02:54our veterans as they cut the people who are critical to make sure that they have the benefits that they make.
03:00So the list goes on and I'm sure you all also couldn't sleep at night as we face a
03:07unprecedented constitutional crisis where...
03:17So the President of the United States has sent somebody who is a legal resident, who is living here,
03:25a father in Maryland, came here from La Sala, who is 16 years old,
03:29supported him accidentally, mistakenly, and is unwilling to obey the Supreme Court order
03:37to get him back into this country and sent him to a gulag of Iraq.
03:42So we know that right now when I'm in the house that the opportunity that we have,
03:56and I just want to set the stage because we're here tonight because we're ready to fight, right?
