00:00Well, Adam had me the whole time for the 7-15 second date update.
00:03J.R. Lana Kevin here.
00:04He was very confident in the date.
00:06He and his date met at Rick's on the River.
00:08Lana, you enjoy that spot?
00:10Yeah, I've been out there a couple of times.
00:11They were talking for a while, he and Teresa, and she said,
00:14Hey, I'm having a Friendsgiving.
00:16It's actually some of the friends you met while I was out with my friends at Rick's on the River.
00:20And come over and enjoy it.
00:22And so he did, and he said things went really well.
00:24And we asked him, Is there anything you might have done to embarrass Teresa?
00:28He goes, Not that I can remember.
00:30But I didn't drink too much, and I remember the night.
00:32So I don't know about this.
00:33I was like, Okay.
00:35All right.
00:35So we're going to see what went down.
00:37Because since then, he's been trying to reach out to her to go on a one-on-one date.
00:41Hasn't heard anything.
00:42We want to know what's going on with Teresa.
00:43Let's call her.
00:44Hello?
01:00Hi, is this Teresa?
01:02Yes, it is.
01:03Who's this?
01:03Hey, Teresa.
01:04This is JR, Lana, and Kevin over here at 99.5 QIK.
01:07How are you doing?
01:08Good morning.
01:09Hello.
01:10Good morning.
01:11I'm good.
01:11How are you guys doing?
01:12We're doing great.
01:14We want to see if we had a couple minutes of your time.
01:16We know we're kind of catching you off guard here.
01:18We wanted to talk to you, actually, about this guy that's really, really into you.
01:23Had some really nice things to say about you.
01:25And can we ask you a couple questions about it?
01:27We're actually on the air right now, if that's okay with you.
01:30Um, this is so weird.
01:35I guess.
01:36All right.
01:37Thank you so much.
01:38We'll try to make it really quick.
01:39We actually wanted to ask you about this guy, Adam.
01:41What he told us is you guys met at Rick's on the River.
01:44You were out with some of your friends.
01:45He was out with some of his friends.
01:47And then you actually were nice enough to invite him to Friendsgiving that your friend was hosting.
01:52He said he had a great time there.
01:54He said it was a very chill night, in his words.
01:56And he really enjoyed your company, and he was kind of looking for something more one-on-one
02:01the next time you guys hung out and has heard nothing from you.
02:04And he's been trying to set that up and kind of wants to know what's going on.
02:07So, what's the deal?
02:08Why haven't you gotten back to Adam?
02:10Uh, honestly, I mean, I have never met somebody with absolutely no concept of just basic manners.
02:21What did he do?
02:22What happened?
02:23Oh, my God.
02:24I haven't even, like, where can I begin?
02:26Well, I mean, I guess I'll just start from the beginning.
02:29You know, I invited him to Friendsgiving.
02:32He shows up empty-handed.
02:34He has, he brings nothing.
02:37Like, nothing.
02:38Oh, this is a bring-a-dish thing?
02:40Like, a potluck type thing?
02:41Well, I mean, I mean, Friendsgiving is always like that.
02:44I mean, I've never been to a Friendsgiving or anything like that.
02:45Regular Thanksgiving is like that.
02:47Right.
02:48I mean, any type of party, really.
02:50Like, you bring something.
02:51Right.
02:51It's just, like, a bottle of wine or, like, a store-bought tie, you know?
02:54I mean, it's like a nice gesture, especially to the host, who's probably been, like, slaving away in the kitchen.
02:59And even if it was just that, I'd be like, okay, maybe he just wasn't aware.
03:04Maybe he forgot.
03:05But it just continues.
03:07Like, the night just continued to press on of, like, how rude and obnoxious he is.
03:11I mean, he was just, like, very boisterous.
03:14I mean, very overbearing.
03:17It was getting to a point where it was kind of embarrassing.
03:19Like, you know, where he was just very loud.
03:21Like, he wanted to speak over everyone.
03:24And these are your friends, right?
03:26Yeah.
03:26These are my friends.
03:27Maybe he was just trying too hard to impress them.
03:30Yeah.
03:30So it kind of sounds like it.
03:32I mean, maybe, like, maybe he was nervous.
03:33But, like, it just kind of pressed on.
03:35And, like, you know, after dinner, he didn't even offer to clean up.
03:39He just got up, like, continued drinking, like, watching the games.
03:43Like, just expecting everybody else to clean up.
03:46And then, like, he took home, like, two big, like, containers of leftovers.
03:53Like, he doesn't bring anything.
03:54Doesn't offer to help, like, with the cooking, the setting up, the preparing.
03:58Doesn't offer to clean up.
03:59But then this guy has the audacity to take two large containers of leftovers home.
04:04Like, he is just oblivious to everything.
04:07He doesn't care.
04:08And I was, like, no.
04:09I was just, like, mortified that this is who I brought to my friends giving.
04:12Let me ask you a quick question, Teresa, about the whole leftovers thing.
04:15Is, did your, did the host say, hey, everybody take something home?
04:19Well, sure.
04:19But, like, he was, like, the first person to, like, bum rush the leftovers.
04:24And, like, grab two huge containers.
04:26Yeah, that's uncool.
04:27That is uncool.
04:28Well, Teresa, here's the deal.
04:29We actually have Adam on the phone with us.
04:31That's how we got your number.
04:33It sounds like he has some valid points there.
04:35I'd like to bring you back on, just hear what he has to say about it.
04:37Adam.
04:38Hey, yeah, I've got a lot of things to say.
04:41By the way, hi.
04:43Thanks for not getting back to me at all after this.
04:46You know, if you wanted me to bring something, you could have just told me to bring something.
04:50I didn't realize it was that type of a party.
04:52You're an adult.
04:53You go to a party.
04:54You bring something.
04:55Especially when, like, somebody's hosting, like, a big Thanksgiving, you know, Friendsgiving dinner where they're going through a lot of preparation.
05:01Like, you bring something as a gesture.
05:03I mean, did you grow up in a barn or something?
05:05Well, hold on real quick.
05:06Adam, and then how do you feel like the vibe was at the party?
05:08Because she's thinking that you kind of might have been a little overbearing.
05:12She's saying I'm obnoxious.
05:13Well, first of all, it's not my fault your friends were boring.
05:15No one was talking.
05:16It felt like a middle school dance where everyone was just, like, sitting in their quarters not doing anything.
05:20Bob, nobody could talk because you wouldn't stop talking.
05:25It's just common courtesy.
05:26It's manners.
05:27You know, you bring something.
05:29You offer to clean up.
05:31You know, you engage in, like, you know, good stuff.
05:33I didn't offer to clean up because there were people already cleaning up.
05:37I didn't want to get it their way.
05:38I don't know where they keep their sponges or their soap or anything like that.
05:41Ooh, they had it in order.
05:42You are so oblivious to that.
05:44It just comes up as so rude.
05:46I feel like you're being entirely extra right now.
05:49Like, when you go anywhere, like, when you go to a McDonald's, do you, like, offer to cook the burger yourself?
05:54Well, that's a little different, Adam, right?
05:56I mean, by the way, Adam, how are the leftovers?
05:58Because it sounds like you took a lot home.
06:01I brought a lot home because my roommate met you, and I told them where I was going.
06:05I figured they would enjoy it.
06:07You had another Friendsgiving.
06:11But do you guys not have money?
06:12Do you not go grocery shopping?
06:13It's not my friend's responsibility to feed your friends.
06:16Like, you say I'm overbearing, you're the one who's telling me to do, I have to do all these things.
06:20If that was the case, I wouldn't have even gone.
06:22That doesn't sound like a good time.
06:23I'm asking you all these things.
06:24I'm asking you to be polite.
06:25I'm asking you to bring a bottle of wine.
06:27I'm asking you to simply scrape your plate off into the garbage.
06:30I mean, if that is asking a lot in your mind, I can only imagine what being in a real relationship was.
06:36It sounds like being in a relationship with you is miserable.
06:38The second I, like, leave the counter, like, with, like, a single drop of water on it, you probably lose your mind.
06:43All right, Adam, so let's remember why you reached out to us originally.
06:47You wanted to take her out again, but now you're being a little bit critical of her.
06:50So where do you stand now as far as wanting to go out with her again?
06:54Not saying that she's going to.
06:55Honestly, it's not my fault your friends are boring and that you're giving me mixed signals.
07:00I'm over this.
07:01Like, that's why I didn't call you.
07:02All right.
07:03I don't want to go on another date with you.
07:04There you go.
07:05Couldn't tell.
07:06Well, we got it.
07:07Well, Teresa, thank you for your time this morning.
07:09I appreciate you letting us know your feelings.
07:12And, Adam, now you know where she stands.
07:14I wish you both luck, okay?
07:16Good luck.
07:16I dodged a bullet, so thank you.
07:18All right, guys.
07:19Take care.
07:20You dodged a bullet.
07:21Jerk.
07:22All right.
07:23Bye-bye.
07:35Bye-bye.
07:35Bye-bye.
