(askanews) - "L'Italia sta per annunciare al prossimo summit Nato che aumenterà le spese al 2% come richiesto": lo ha detto la presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni, nelle dichiarazioni congiunte con il presidente americano Donald Trump alla Casa Bianca. "Non è mai abbastanza", ha aggiunto Trump. Per Meloni "L'Europa è impegnata a fare di più, sta lavorando sugli strumenti per consentire e aiutare gli Stati membri ad aumentare le spese per la difesa. Siamo convinti che tutti debbano fare di più".
