00:00:11There is no mistaking Bristol Motor Speedway when you drive up on it.
00:00:15And despite the beautiful scenery here, for drivers, there is no better view than from Victory Lane.
00:00:21And you're watching NASCAR Countdown Live on the CW.
00:00:25And let's talk about peak performances.
00:00:27That would be Brandon Jones snapping a 98 winless streak in Darlington last week.
00:00:32Sometimes all it takes is one to get a driver on a roll, much like Justin Allgaier,
00:00:37who hasn't really stopped that momentum yet.
00:00:39Two wins on this track and already two wins to his name this season.
00:00:44And then, of course, we know anytime he's in the field, we've got to take note.
00:00:47Kyle Larson back in the number 17 today to try to add to his seven wins in 14 starts in the series.
00:00:54And we are back with you here at the CW Garage with you ahead of the racing at Bristol Carlo Mets.
00:00:59Parker Kligerman.
00:01:00We've got another short track race ahead of us.
00:01:02You are fresh off this track in the truck series last night.
00:01:05This is always entertaining racing.
00:01:07But this track is also really difficult.
00:01:10Why is it so challenging for drivers?
00:01:11Well, it's for all the reasons that we love it.
00:01:13It's high speeds, really high banking, which means you're constantly trying to navigate that and then navigate the speeds.
00:01:19It means things happen quickly here, sometimes not of your own doing,
00:01:22and you can be involved in it because things happen so fast.
00:01:25And it's really a place where there's multiple grooves, and choosing when and where to use those is key.
00:01:29It's really difficult, though, to know when and where to use those, and it all happens super fast.
00:01:34Yeah, high speeds here.
00:01:35But if we're talking short track racing, we can't forget about two weeks ago in Martinsville.
00:01:39Lots of cautions, some poor decision-making, some tempers.
00:01:43Aren't we going to see the same thing today?
00:01:45Well, I don't quite think so because NASCAR actually sat down all these speed series drivers last week at Dolores
00:01:50and had a meeting because they saw that this race was just too much, right?
00:01:54It was over the top, overly aggressive, too many moves, not just the one at the end,
00:01:57but throughout that race that cost these teams millions of dollars in damage,
00:02:02and that's not what we want to see out of the Xfinity Series.
00:02:04This is the second highest level of stock car racing in America.
00:02:07We can do better than that is what they said to the drivers, and I think the drivers will respond to that.
00:02:11But it is Bristol, and for all the reasons we said it's difficult,
00:02:14means there could definitely be lots of contact.
00:02:16But when you have contact here with the high speeds, the banking, how on edge the race cars are,
00:02:21that can mean also large wrecks.
00:02:23But hopefully we have less aggression than we did at Martinsville.
00:02:27And if we're talking storylines, we got Dash for Cash back again this week,
00:02:30a chance for one of four drivers to win $100,000.
00:02:34You've got your usual contenders, but then you've got Brendan Poole.
00:02:37He's up for this for the first time since 2017.
00:02:39I mean, this is really meaningful for this team.
00:02:41It's massive, and it's so cool for Alpha Prime to be in this position.
00:02:45And to put it into context, we say this often, what does $100,000 mean to these things, to these drivers?
00:02:49Well, it's essentially like winning the biggest race of the year at Daytona.
00:02:52Alpha Prime has never won a race, and in this chance,
00:02:55all they've got to do is beat three other drivers at a place that is treacherous.
00:02:59It's difficult.
00:02:59We'd see large wrecks take out the contenders.
00:03:02They might have that opportunity to go get $100,000.
00:03:05It would be absolutely massive.
00:03:06It would be huge for that team.
00:03:07And we know a lot of life can happen between wins for drivers.
00:03:10For Brandon Jones, he switched teams, raced 98 races,
00:03:13and waited 1,093 days before returning to victory lane.
00:03:17All six of his wins have come with JGR.
00:03:19But last week proved that that weight made it mean just a little bit more.
00:03:24Back to Joe Gibbs Racing, and back to victory lane for Brandon Jones.
00:03:29He gets his second career victory at Darlington.
00:03:32First off, nice to get locked into the playoffs.
00:03:34You know, that feels really good to not have to worry about that.
00:03:37When I came back here for 2025, and I walked into the shop,
00:03:40it just felt like home all over again.
00:03:42It wasn't taking a chance.
00:03:43I knew Sam was probably one of their premier best crew chiefs they had.
00:03:46So that feels good to kind of get that off his back as well,
00:03:48and to get him his first win.
00:03:50You think Matt's smiling right now?
00:03:52Matt Kenseth is a big fan.
00:03:54Matt probably meant a lot to Joe Gibbs Racing
00:03:56to represent a racer like Matt today
00:03:58and do it in that kind of style where we had to go
00:04:00and beat Cup Racers and meet some of the best
00:04:03that are able to run Darlington.
00:04:04No better fashion, I don't think,
00:04:06to go out with a cool scheme like that.
00:04:08This is huge momentum.
00:04:09I knew we were on a high, just didn't know it was going to happen.
00:04:12So, all in all.
00:04:16As he gets a hug and a kiss.

00:04:24I didn't know who all was going to meet me out there.

00:04:27You know, I do this because it's fun for the entire group.
00:04:29It's lots of late nights for both sides,
00:04:32for the crew and myself to get prepared
00:04:34and get ready for these races.
00:04:35The whole piece to the pie was there today.
00:04:37It was Brandon Jones last weekend
00:04:43with the much-celebrated win at Darlington.
00:04:45Now that you and the 20 team, though,
00:04:46have that checkmark in the win column,
00:04:48what's the next goal?
00:04:49Yeah, I think today we've got another really fast
00:04:52Menards Toyota Supra to be able to
00:04:54possibly contend for the race.
00:04:55I know this morning was a lot of different track conditions.
00:04:57We've had a lot of stuff now happen
00:04:59where Cup Cars have now been on track
00:05:00for a whole session as well.
00:05:02So there's a lot of unknowns, I think,
00:05:03going into today of where the grip's going to be
00:05:05and where the line's going to be at.
00:05:06But I think one thing's for sure,
00:05:08these guys are doing a really good job right now
00:05:10of just making the right changes,
00:05:11staying really consistent.
00:05:13Our picker has been on fire, you know,
00:05:14so I'm not really concerned about
00:05:15where we're starting at today.
00:05:17Being in 14th, that's not really exactly what we wanted to,
00:05:20but as a company, I think we just all missed
00:05:21just a little bit for qualifying.
00:05:23So all in all, I think yesterday,
00:05:24having the handful of laps I did in the truck race
00:05:26will probably come into play,
00:05:28just knowing how to pass
00:05:29and where I need to be on the racetrack.
00:05:31But all in all, just trying to look forward
00:05:33to try to get to the top five
00:05:34and trying to stay in the top five
00:05:36for pretty much the entire day
00:05:37and see if we can't capitalize on some stage points,
00:05:40maybe even sneak in there for a stage win
00:05:41and then have a shot to end.

00:06:02going into today's race,
00:06:03but Kyle Larson is a threat
00:06:04no matter what field he's racing in.
00:06:06The Cup Series driver back in the series today
00:06:08ran second in the Truck Series last night,
00:06:10so he's still seeking that rare sweep on the weekend.
00:06:12But if you remember,
00:06:14he did come close in Miami this year,
00:06:15winning two out of the three,
00:06:17but came up just a little short in that Xfinity race.
00:06:20For Kyle Larson, he is trying to sweep the weekend.
00:06:24He's got to win tonight and he's got to win tomorrow.
00:06:26Up front, Kyle Larson wants a piece of the lead.
00:06:29Kyle Larson really has hoped about that advantage now.
00:06:32Oh, here we go.
00:06:33He was a spinner, 54, Taylor Gray.
00:06:35A much-needed caution flag for every driver

00:06:42before they ever launched off the restart zone.

00:06:46The 41 just lagged back and slammed the s*** out of me.
00:06:49I got one more opportunity in this thing.
00:06:50We'll see if we can get it done then.
00:06:51Kyle Larson starts on the pole today at Bristol,
00:06:57so certainly a good chance
00:06:58to kind of avenge what happened at Homestead.
00:07:01But Homestead's kind of a track like this
00:07:03where there's a lot of different line options.
00:07:05You can move around a lot,
00:07:06but what are the challenges
00:07:07of doing that effectively here?
00:07:09Yeah, I mean, Homestead's a bit different
00:07:11because, like, you can really stand out.
00:07:14I feel like, you know, here,
00:07:15everybody gets kind of going fast and all that,
00:07:17and then you kind of migrate to run in similar lanes.
00:07:19But, um, my car felt really good in practice,
00:07:22and I felt like I could run some different lines
00:07:25and run similar lap time.
00:07:26So I'm confident about that.
00:07:28But like any race, you got to execute, you know,
00:07:31try to keep it up front,
00:07:33but then have good pit stops and restarts and all that.
00:07:36So we'll see.
00:07:38I'm excited about it.
00:07:38I love Bristol.
00:07:39I haven't ran Xfinity here in a long time,
00:07:41but I always had a blast when I would.
00:07:43So looking forward to it,
00:07:44and it should be a good race.
00:07:46Well, it's been a somber week for NASCAR,
00:07:48and one of the friends that we lost
00:07:50was John Edwards, your PR man,
00:07:52somebody who I know is a friend of yours.
00:07:54What did he mean to you personally?
00:07:56What kind of impact did he have on your life?
00:07:58Well, he meant a lot for so many.
00:08:00I mean, he's been in this sport for decades.
00:08:02So, you know, I got to spend the last,
00:08:05you know, handful of years with him,
00:08:06and he really just gave me a lot of comfort.
00:08:09You know, like, he was just a guy
00:08:10with a lot of experience, fun, you know,
00:08:13always had a good energy about him.
00:08:15And, yeah, we're going to miss having him
00:08:18at the racetrack, but more importantly,
00:08:19you miss him just being around as a friend.
00:08:21So, you know, thoughts and all that
00:08:24go out to his family, you know,
00:08:26Jeff Gordon, especially for the years
00:08:28that he spent with him.
00:08:29So we'll try to make him proud tonight
00:08:32and this weekend and on in the future.
00:08:34I know he would not want us or anybody
00:08:36to be upset or sad about his passing,
00:08:39but it's hard not to be.
00:08:40So, but, you know, we'll just keep our heads down
00:08:43and try to make him proud, like I said.
00:08:44Heavy hearts for sure,
00:08:45but racing for a good cause this weekend
00:08:47and racing in honor of John Edwards.
00:08:51Beyond the roar of the engines
00:08:53and action on the track,
00:08:55NASCAR is built on people and relationships.
00:08:58For three decades,
00:09:00John Edwards was among the best
00:09:01at forging those bonds.
00:09:03As public relations representative
00:09:05for Jeff Gordon, Kyle Larson,
00:09:08and Hendrick Motorsports,
00:09:09Edwards worked hand in hand
00:09:11with the sport's highest profile superstars.
00:09:14He was known for his hard work
00:09:17and selflessness in managing the demands
00:09:19on his teammates from media,
00:09:21sponsors, and the public.
00:09:23He was a straight shooter who opened doors
00:09:25and made the impossible possible
00:09:27for those seeking to tell the story of NASCAR.
00:09:30But more than that,
00:09:32Edwards was a respected
00:09:33and admired presence in the garage.
00:09:35A dry wit
00:09:36and a spirited conversationalist,
00:09:39Edwards was funny,
00:09:41kind,
00:09:42and a true friend and mentor
00:09:43to so many throughout the sport.
00:09:46John Edwards' passion for NASCAR
00:09:47and its people will be missed,
00:09:50and his impact
00:09:51and example
00:09:52will endure.
00:09:54John Edwards
00:09:55was 52 years old.
00:09:59It's been an extremely hard week
00:10:01in the industry.
00:10:02As we said goodbye
00:10:03to our friend John Edwards,
00:10:05who was loved by so many.
00:10:08Also, Shiggy Hattori,
00:10:10a former truck owner,
00:10:11IndyCar and Truck Series driver,
00:10:13passed away this week at age 61.
00:10:16He won a truck championship
00:10:17with Brett Moffitt back in 2018.
00:10:19And then Al Pierce.
00:10:22And then Al Pierce.
00:10:23He was a fixture
00:10:24and a friend in the sport
00:10:25for more than 50 years.
00:10:27He covered 56 consecutive Daytona 500s.
00:10:31He was 82 years old.
00:10:33They will all be missed,
00:10:34and the entire NASCAR community
00:10:36is thinking
00:10:36of their friends and family.

00:10:58Bristol is one of the craziest racetracks
00:11:01on the schedule.
00:11:02It is probably the most hectic racetrack
00:11:04because there's so much going on all the time,
00:11:06and you're going so fast.
00:11:07Things happen very quickly.
00:11:09It's just one of those split instances
00:11:10on missing a wreck.
00:11:12Trouble, trouble.
00:11:13At turn number two,
00:11:14Josh Berry collected in a wreck.
00:11:16It starts to wear on you.
00:11:17The corners are really similar.
00:11:19They're really high banked,
00:11:20really high speed.
00:11:22You're working both pedals.
00:11:23You're working the wheel really hard,
00:11:25and you're moving around a lot,
00:11:26and the racing's super tight.
00:11:27You have the whole entire racetrack
00:11:29that you can run on.
00:11:30It's bottom, middle, top.
00:11:31You really got to hit your marks,
00:11:33and that takes a mental drain on your body.
00:11:35The track kind of changes throughout the race,
00:11:37which makes it a lot of fun.
00:11:38It's the last great costume for a reason.
00:11:40It's one of the craziest.
00:11:41You're going to run into each other,
00:11:42but you're also wanting to be the gladiator
00:11:44that ends on top.
00:11:47And what makes it so special?
00:11:49That would definitely be the banking.
00:11:51It's our second short track of the season.
00:11:53The first was Martinsville.
00:11:5412 degrees of banking there,
00:11:56but it feels flat, that half-mile paperclip.
00:11:59But for Bristol, the last great coliseum,
00:12:01the world's fastest half-mile,
00:12:0228 degrees of banking,
00:12:05which means high speeds.
00:12:06Things happen quickly.
00:12:07It feels like you're running around
00:12:08in a washer machine at times.
00:12:11But if you are successful at Bristol,
00:12:13it has one of the world's coolest trophies,
00:12:15one I've always wanted, Dylan,
00:12:17and I've been quite close.
00:12:19Well, Parker, this is an awesome racetrack.
00:12:21We're in a cool stretch of races
00:12:23for the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
00:12:24When you win, you get to do some cool things.
00:12:27Last week at Darlington,
00:12:27old historic racetrack,
00:12:29Martinsville a couple weeks ago,
00:12:30stop on the front stretch,
00:12:31get the grandfather clock.
00:12:32Here at Bristol, you drive up the ramp,
00:12:34as evidenced by all these burnout marks.
00:12:36And then you get here to Victory Lane,
00:12:38which is right on the inside of Turn 3 and 4.
00:12:40And what awaits you?
00:12:41But this soared at the end of the day,
00:12:44which I guess maybe they use that,
00:12:45you use that to defend yourself
00:12:46against all the guys that you made mad
00:12:48on your way to Victory Lane here later today.
00:12:50But this is very sharp, by the way.
00:12:52I won't name names,
00:12:53but this has been known to break skin
00:12:54on national TV before being handled.
00:12:57So you've got to be careful with this.
00:12:58But how fitting is this, right?
00:13:00This is the last great Coliseum.
00:13:01These guys are gladiators,
00:13:03literally out here trying to go at it
00:13:04for 300 laps today.
00:13:05And this is what you get.
00:13:06The king gets this at the end of the day
00:13:08here at Bristol.
00:13:10Wow, that is a dangerous-looking trophy.
00:13:11I know.
00:13:12He was holding it quite far from himself
00:13:14for a good reason.
00:13:14Yeah, all right.
00:13:15We're eight races in, though.
00:13:16Let's go ahead and take a look
00:13:17at some standings right now.
00:13:18We're going to go a little further
00:13:19down in the standings.
00:13:20Some drivers that have maybe been
00:13:21a little bit of surprise.
00:13:22Let's start with maybe Ryan Seag.
00:13:24Right.
00:13:24Since Phoenix,
00:13:25this team has really turned it around
00:13:26in terms of performance.
00:13:27You know, they moved this team
00:13:28to North Carolina in hope of having
00:13:30better resources and better performance.
00:13:32And they've seen that.
00:13:32Ryan Seag has spent more time
00:13:34than ever in the simulator.
00:13:35It's showing up on the racetrack.
00:13:36How about Harrison Burton?
00:13:37Well, for this team,
00:13:38they've been very impressive
00:13:39in gathering stage points,
00:13:41manipulating strategies to do that.
00:13:43It's been awesome to watch.
00:13:44Harrison told me
00:13:44we wanted to start the season
00:13:46with base hits.
00:13:47They've absolutely been doing just that.
00:13:48Let's stay in the family.
00:13:49Let's go Jeb Burton.
00:13:50And for Jeb, you know,
00:13:51one of the performance games
00:13:52we've seen out of him
00:13:53has been more sim time,
00:13:54more resources.
00:13:55Kind of a familiar theme here
00:13:57with a couple of these teams.
00:13:58He told me he spent more time
00:13:59in the sim than ever,
00:14:00which has meant trips in Virginia
00:14:01down to North Carolina.
00:14:02But it's all been worth
00:14:03what they've seen on the racetrack.
00:14:05I think they can keep it up
00:14:06with Jordan Anderson racing.
00:14:07Yeah, so Seag and Burton
00:14:08maybe should be on our radar.
00:14:09But one driver that's not a surprise,
00:14:11not even a little bit.
00:14:12That's Justin Allgaier.
00:14:14He's with Kim Kuhn.
00:14:15That's right.
00:14:16Justin's on everybody's radar.
00:14:17Anytime we come to Bristol,
00:14:18you've led 60 or more laps
00:14:20in the last eight Bristol races.
00:14:22What challenges lie ahead
00:14:23for you and the team this afternoon?
00:14:24Honestly, just the conditions.
00:14:26You know, with practice this morning
00:14:27being nice and cold for us,
00:14:29the sun finally has come out.
00:14:30But then the grip strip,
00:14:32you know, what it's going to do
00:14:33throughout the course today,
00:14:34the Cup Series car
00:14:35has definitely changed it a lot.
00:14:36So I think the track's
00:14:38going to move around.
00:14:39We took Jarrett Logistics
00:14:40to victory lane earlier this year
00:14:41with our Chevrolet,
00:14:42and we'd love to do it again
00:14:43here at Bristol.
00:14:43Been so close to winning
00:14:44so many races here
00:14:45and have only one, too.
00:14:46So we gotta, we gotta do
00:14:48a little bit better this week.
00:14:49All right, Justin looking
00:14:50for that third Bristol win.
00:14:53Yeah, he's looking for his third win.
00:14:54That also means his third sword.
00:14:56What do you do with three swords,
00:14:58Parker?
00:14:58I have no idea where you'd place him.

00:16:29Biggest goal for them early
00:16:30is just move forward

00:58:31caution like this that happens with a car sitting there you're just focused on making lap time and
00:58:36following the cars in front of you and suddenly there's something sitting there racetrack you can
00:58:40only react so quickly these heavy 3,400 pound cars here's a crazy stat Jeb Burton is gonna get the
00:58:46free pass he's 14th that's a major statement of just how good the 17 of Kyle Larson has been early
00:58:54Dylan yeah and Kyle had some thoughts on his pace early on under this red take a listen

01:04:13um i don't know happy to be okay and fight on next week we know things happen very fast that contact by brennan pool did you have any warning from your spotter or could you see him coming based on what your car position was
01:04:25uh no when the first guy hit missed me i was like oh i might not get hit at all and then yeah i just got hit so
01:04:33it just happened so quick here and um yeah i mean for brennan's sake just
01:04:38it happens quick and uh and i was sitting right there in the middle of the track so
01:04:42what do you do glad sheldon's okay i'm ready definitely glad he's okay and you know it's such a helpless feeling
01:04:49when you're in sheldon's position there as you mentioned when you're stopped on the front stretch
01:04:52of a racetrack and you know there's cars coming your way and you see one miss you
01:04:55you think you're hoping not to get hit eventually he did get hit obviously and that's really tough
01:05:01and what he mentioned there being super loose and just trying to hang on to it that is such typical
01:05:04bristol when the car's ill handling you're just trying to survive but that means you may be a little
01:05:08slow at the center of the corner at times that allowed the 26 to get the back of him and it's going
01:05:12to be very interesting to follow up on kim's other report what do we do strategy-wise once the red flag
01:05:18is lifted back under yellow nearing the end of stage one under red for this sheldon creed
01:05:25and brennan pool

01:06:24orion c i am really curious to see how this plays out as far as strategy goes because a lot of guys
01:06:30lap down that can have some options depending on who pits and how they handle things do you pit here
01:06:36flip the stage do you stay out get stage points a whole lot of different agendas with eight laps to
01:06:42go and eventually pit road opening up right and where larson is the massive lead he has he has such
01:06:46a lead even here with a bunch of cars behind in between him and the seven and even third place so
01:06:52they have a lot of time to react to what he does but you have to make this choice you want points
01:06:56you want to keep those other cars a lap down force them to have to maybe take the wave in the
01:07:00in the stage break so a lot of decisions here for pit road and pit road very unique here at bristol
01:07:07under caution you enter in turn two go all the way around and exit turn one pit road on both the front
01:07:14and back straight away at bristol motor speedway
01:07:17all right we're going to find out what's happening progressive pit road is open we send it to dillon
01:07:28and kyle larson is the very first pit stall on the back straight away there was some debate about
01:07:34staying out here to keeping those cars uh trapped a lap down but they ultimately wanted to protect
01:07:38their own track position you see the adjustment there to give larson a little bit more security
01:07:42with a wrench in the back window four tires and fuel for the 17 and here's connor zilich as well
01:07:48on the left of the screen he reported that he was neutral on corner entry but was battling tight
01:07:53a little bit later in the corner maybe just an air pressure adjustment four tires and fuel on the 88
01:07:58and their teammate sammy smith all the way around on the front stretch is where
01:08:12his pit stall is there was a lot of debate on the radio between sammy and his crew chief philip bell
01:08:17whether or not they were going to stay out or come ultimately electing to come sammy did say the
01:08:21balance felt really good the team was just telling him he needs a little bit early entry as you see
01:08:25a brigade of jrm cards carson quapel also on the pit lane getting fresh tires and fuel
01:08:31we talked about the approach to strategy sam mayer ryan sieg stay on the racetrack
01:08:37and the race off progressive pit road see everyone exiting here
01:08:42this is going to be i think it was a fairly easy easy for the 17 on pit road there
01:08:53oh my gosh he drove away he's put more he was already out of the shop by the time we went there
01:08:58he slapped two more cars under caution actually i think back to kim
01:09:05and brendan pool has been released from the care center the other part of that incident with sheldon
01:09:09creed we know really sheldon had nowhere to go you know had nowhere to go i know everything
01:09:13happened so fast what kind of communication were you getting from your spotter if any and what were
01:09:17you seeing yeah it was just tough i was in the top lane i was already back to the gas uh beeline to
01:09:22as my spotter said check up check up check up i the way the banking is here i couldn't even see
01:09:27where the double zero was at yet so i just started slowing down um and he was right in the middle of
01:09:31the tracks and i started to just spin out and i i nailed him so just kind of unfortunate hate the 26
01:09:36turn around eight two dash for cash cars got into it i just kind of stinks i think we're going to be
01:09:41all right we need a few adjustments um just one of those deals but everything here happens so fast
01:09:46and you also can't really see and it's just it's just kind of a kind of a tough deal how was the racing
01:09:51though aside from the incident that you were seeing out there especially the track as it was
01:09:55getting rubber yeah i thought the the racetrack did a great job with the prepping it with the
01:09:59stuff they spread the bottom of the track we had the two lanes and it was it was just starting to
01:10:02work really good i was having a lot of fun it just uh stinks we don't get to finish it off
01:10:08belated happy birthday to brennan turned 34 yesterday was hoping to be a big celebration
01:10:13involved in the dash for cash but unfortunately done early
01:10:15and his disappointment this fans gain taking home a part of the 44 car there
01:10:23oh that's always nice to see so we're doing the track we're doing the choose here and you see that
01:10:3041 takes the outside lane inside 39 of ryan c that'll be the front row they stayed out behind them
01:10:38larson and zilich and we're only going to have three laps to decide stage one we've seen this before
01:10:45here at bristol even though they're on way older tires it can still work for you you just get a
01:10:49good enough restart the laps happen so quickly some of those cars behind on the newer tires can get
01:10:53stuck side by side allowing older tires to win a stage like this then they'll have to uh pin lose
01:10:59all that track position here they come through the echo park restart zone jeb burton free pass 11 cars
01:11:05took the wave around shootout to end the opening stage oh the 39 just couldn't get going there for
01:11:10ryan sieg really bottled up the bottom sam mayor got a good restart but kyle arson will be right on
01:11:16his tail how good is this for larson could win the opening stage despite bidding maybe not mayor gets
01:11:22away sieg jumps up into second what a recovery by sieg there from the restart used the bottom
01:11:28effectively in one and two it's lots in the second huge for sieg when you talk about points they're
01:11:33going to have to pit they'll lose some track position but came in 20 above the cut line or so and this is
01:11:39is going to pay dividends one to go in the stage he's getting real tight back here for third and
01:11:43fourth between some of the jrm teammates and kyle arson sam mayor playing the strategy game going to

01:13:12can enter either into turn uh four there or into turn two and exit on that same side of your pit road
01:13:20that's a lot it's it's it's i've seen people make that that that mistake many a time i was going to
01:13:26say it's not easy as a driver and we have seen over the years a lack of concentration right always
01:13:32nice to have a reminder i mentioned prior to the break 11 drivers took the wave around
01:13:38under this our third caution of the day matt de benedetto gets the free pass that will put 26 cars
01:13:45on the lead lap which is hard to believe because at 11 laps to go in the stage before the caution came
01:13:51out larson had lapped all the way up to the 13th position sanchez has made his pit stop he's seventh

01:14:06not my concern it's all good you have nothing to push on up there okay we can't be beaten on that corner
