Mayor brings Easter cheer to Ulster Hospital

00:00It's great to be here at the Children's Ward in the Ulster Hospital today spreading some

00:06Easter cheer as we head towards Easter holiday so it's been absolutely fantastic to be here today.

00:12I think it's so important to do you know just to spread that little bit of cheer and maybe put a

00:16wee smile on their face while they're here. I think that's so incredibly important you know

00:20it's like wee things like this to make a world of difference for children so it's been great fun to be here.

00:25It's great to see the mayor here today on our paediatric ward and it's really nice that they've

00:30come out to meet us and meet all the kids. It's lovely for the kids to see the mayor and see the

00:35Easter bunny coming up to the Easter holidays to have a wee bit of fun a wee bit of normality as

00:39they're out of their own environment and just get to have all the celebrations as all the other kids

00:43do that aren't in hospital at this time and it just brightens up our day. Big thanks to Lisburn and

00:48Castle Ray City Council for the donations they've brought us today we're really appreciative of them

00:53and I'm sure the kids will all really love them.
