00:53сinho, olha, heads in the back of the bike. Check it out right here. So, the bottom of the screen there, and there he goes, leaning back.
01:00See how he gets into the first corner, slides the back end, but was able to make a lot of moves by a lot of guys
01:08because it jams up so much on that inside.
01:12Yeah, when you're on the inside, you're not really paying attention to the outside guy, and that guy was able to outbreak you,
01:17Tom did a great job because he had no choice really, so that was nice.
01:23JT, what you got?
01:24Well, thinking about that outside that he used there, even if he goes on to win this LCQ,
01:28he's still going to beat the 18th, 19th gate pick, so he's going to have to remember how well that worked
01:34and to fully commit in that main event.
01:36Otherwise, he's going to get buried on the outside there, so that's a really good lesson he's going to have to carry with him.
01:41Another guy here in this last chance qualifier, Michael Moseman.
01:45I mean, he's won races, so I'm very surprised to see him in there, Will.
01:53Yeah, just heading back there, guys, to Tom Bialik, how he ended up in this LCQ here.
01:58I checked him with the team.
02:00Physically, they said he was absolutely fine.
02:02That wasn't the reason that he headed off track there.
02:04They just said he admitted he made a silly mistake.
02:07Too far left, he said.
02:08That's on me.
02:09I should have done that, but I guess there was a lot of mud.
02:11Got on his grips, got on his gloves, packed in the bike, and he just decided,
02:17I can't get back to 9th, which is where he would have had to get back to, to transfer straight through.
02:21So they left, and the team told me it was quite a lot of work to get all the mud,
02:25actually, from that fall off the bike and get him ready here.
02:28How about a little bit of local flavor as well?
02:29Another Pennsylvania rider from Pittsburgh.
02:32Gavin Towers leads the way.
02:33Gavin got a superstar and has been out in front ever since aboard his Phoenix Racing Honda.
02:42And then we go back to behind Tom Bialik, Lutonis, Michael Moseman, Hardy Munoz.
02:47They're all in the mix.
02:48Everybody wants to go to the main event in this East-West Divisional Showdown.
02:52And again, as I mentioned earlier, you got the best of the East-West, so you have all these guys.
02:59Some of these guys haven't raced against each other, even though we had a showdown a couple weeks ago.
03:04A lot of these guys haven't raced, so you're getting familiar with it.
03:06But I think so far, these four, if they can just keep that gap between fifth place, Hardy Munoz,
03:12I think they'll be fun, and nobody's going to do anything crazy unless the back comes up.
03:16It's Michael Moseman making that good move on the inside, set that up beautifully,
03:21and just gives himself a little more breathing room, Ricky.
03:24Yeah, there's Hardy.
03:26Yeah.
03:27Right there.
03:29Lutonis blocks the inside, anticipating Hardy to go up to make the move,
03:35and that's not the case.
03:36Closes the door.
03:38Oh!
03:39Bunoz looks on the inside.
03:40That was an aggressive angle, just a little bit too far back to make that happen.
03:45That would have been some heavy contact.
03:47There's the move.
03:48Jumps his way into that fourth spot.
03:51Lutonis responds.
03:54Good battle now.
03:55Hardy's got to play that defense, because here it comes again.
04:00Fantastic changing of positions into the whoops.
04:02Here comes Munoz on the outside.
04:07Really leading in on him.
04:09That's impressive.
04:10That's a very brave move, and he makes it work.
04:14Already on the outside, maybe anticipating for Luton to make a move, put him off the track.
04:21Remember, this is the last chance.
04:23Anything goes, and that was a great pass.
04:25You've got to wonder, did Munoz knew he needed to get that position,
04:31but did Nis know the same thing?
04:32Because you would have think he would have put a little bit of fault to a little fight.
04:35So now he's coming back up.
04:37He's got to stay close.
04:39Otherwise, he's going home early today.
04:41Quick reminder that all season long, you can tune in to the Spanish broadcast
04:44on the Telemundo page of the NBC app, and on the Telemundo YouTube channel.
04:50You can join Edgar and Tommy all the way through to the Super Motocross World Championship Finals.
04:56Back up front.
04:57Great job, Gavin Towers.
05:00The youngster from Pittsburgh.
05:01And he's got the champ chasing him down, and Vial just had a little error there.
05:05Got out of that rut, ran wide, but there's no immediate pressure.
05:09He's going through to the main event.
05:10That's the objective achieved if he stays where he is over these closing two laps.
05:15See quite a few guys going into that corner have difficulty with it, that right-hander.
05:20It's almost like they're not leaned over enough, and they're not centered enough up in the rut,
05:25and it grabs you and pulls you to the opposite side.
05:28Yeah, no, and the rut just forms really big, and I think, as you were just saying, they land.
05:32That's probably the softest part of the racetrack, the most stinkiest part.
05:35So those guys land, and that bike grabs them, and they're going one way or another.
05:40But I think Tom's probably going to struggle a little bit because you think he only rode one lap a night.
05:45He raced, and before that, it's been a few hours since he's been on the racetrack.
05:48So he probably hasn't ridden on this racetrack besides one lap over the last five hours.
05:53So it's cold out here, so the mistakes are probably going to happen.
05:57He'll figure it out.
05:58He has no choice.
05:58The main event's coming up next.
06:00Well, it's never fun to be in a last-chance qualifier,
06:03but if you're going to win one and it's a showdown,
06:06like James talked about earlier in this race,
06:09a little more heat in this last-chance qualifier than normal
06:14because you've got the best for both coasts.
06:17Here you go.
06:18Best result of the season at the last race out
06:24and then winning the last-chance qualifier.
06:26Well done.
06:27Gavin Towers over the champ.
06:29Vial, Michael Moseman, and Hardy Munoz
06:32confirms the four riders going through
06:35to the East-West Showdown main event.
06:39Boy, that is going to be fantastic.
06:41Well done, Gavin Towers.
06:42Man, I love what Stasek's doing for the next generation of riders.
