00:00Pinulong na ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. ang kanyang economic team kaugnay ng epekto ng global tariffs na ipinataw ng Amerika.
00:08Sa press briefing sa Malacanang, binanggit ni Special Assistant to the President for Investment Economic Affairs, Sekretary Frederick Goh,
00:16ang mga sektor na maapektwa ng taripa.
00:19Sinabi ni Goh na personal siyang pupunta sa Amerika para makipag-usap sa United States Trade Representative.
00:26Kinumpirma rin ni Goh na kasulukuyan ng naigipagpulong ang economic team sa counterparts nito sa ASEAN upang pag-usapan ang epekto ng U.S. tarip sa ASEAN region.
00:38Tatalakayan din ni Sekretary Goh sa Pangulo ang utos ni U.S. President Donald Trump na siyamnapung araw na pagpapatigil sa lahat ng reciprocal tariffs maliban sa China.
00:49Na we have reached out to the United States Trade Representative or USTR na tinatawag.
00:59Ang office po na ito, ito yung responsible for all these trade tariffs.
01:04So we have reached out to the USTR and we have communicated with them our desire to engage in a meeting or dialogue with them.
01:12And they have positively responded.
01:16So I will be scheduling a trip to the United States to meet with the USTR soon.
