After over a year of speculation, Universal has revealed its plans to build a huge theme park, resort and hotel on land in Bedford.

01:29behind me. These are going to be the jobs of yourselves and your colleagues for years
01:34and years to come. And we will make sure that those jobs go to the people who absolutely
01:40need them, because that's part of our plan to get Britain working. It develops skills
01:46for students like those here at Kimberley College and at Bedford College. I think it's
01:51fantastic that already the work has started to look at what courses are going to be necessary,
01:56how we get the pipeline of different jobs, different talents. That'll be some of the
02:00jobs in construction, design, architecture, etc. But then the jobs are actually running
02:06this theme park. The new apprenticeships, internships, training opportunities. It's going to be really
02:12fantastic for local people. I'm so pleased that we've got some of the young people here, because
02:16this is some of the work that you will be engaged on, because this is a five or six year project
02:22to build. That means we'll be starting on this very, very quickly. And I know curriculums
02:27are already being discussed, programmes to train local people and jobs in the future.
02:32so we're going to be able to invest in something else. I think it's great. And then we're just
02:35spending time with our focus on that, and it's on the way, because there's a
02:40gap in
02:43building such as having the core of the people. But I feel like we're also getting it.
02:46So we're going to be able to learn some of the things that we've had in the past. And so we're
02:48going to be able to build the bit of the big ones that have in the past, and it's going to be
02:50about two years. And these are going to be able to bring up their plan, and we'll be able to
02:52a time-to-day basis. So the future, we're going to be able to build a projects that are going to be what
02:52we're running for the team, but we're going to try and it's going to be a little bit. And so with that
