00:00Pat, I always read these things and I wonder to myself like, I'm not saying that what they're
00:05doing is wrong, and I'm not taking sides here, but other things are sold in this country
00:11that do cause issues too, and people are targeted as well.
00:15I just find a hard time believing that they're going to win this.
00:18Now I understand it's just setting a message here, maybe trying to set a precedent, but
00:22can they win something like this?
00:24I have no idea.
00:26And we'll have some legal insight coming to our website soon, but yeah, it is really just
00:31looking at kind of, is it okay to use bonus bets to attract users and then use the information
00:37that you garner, which is hundreds of data points to then try to excrete more money from
00:43these users, and that's the crux of this issue or this lawsuit.
00:48See if anything happens.
00:49They say we're taking on a national problem, the city of Baltimore mayor and city council,
00:56and that is something we've seen.
00:58We've seen Richard Blumenthal and Paul Tonko in Congress introduce the Safe Bet Act, which
01:04would kind of limit the bonus bet usage in promos and kind of limit the usage of the
01:10information they gather to get more out of the customers.
01:14So it is going to be something we're seeing more and more talked about, whether it's this
01:17lawsuit or legislators saying, hey, let's put a few more safeguards in this for our
01:22consumers.
