00:00Good morning to all of you and live from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.
00:05The time is now April 6, 2025.
00:12We can see in the latest satellite images that the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone is continuing,
00:18particularly in the part of Mindanao, which is affected by the part of Palawan.
00:23Today, we expect that there will be a high chance of rain in the parts of Katimugan and Kanlurang Bahagi of Mindanao,
00:31as well as here in Palawan at the end of the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone.
00:37The wind that blows from the Pacific Ocean, this is the easterlies,
00:41will affect most parts of our country.
00:44We can notice here in Luzon that there is almost no cloudiness,
00:47so we expect that there will be less chance of rain in some parts of Luzon,
00:53even though it is still possible for isolated or heavy rains to occur in some parts of Kabisayaan.
01:00At the moment, based on our latest data, we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas.
01:06This means that in the coming days, there is still a small chance of a storm.
01:12Here in Luzon, we expect that there will be a high chance of rain in some parts of Luzon.
01:20We also expect that it will still be hot, especially in the afternoon.
01:24The temperature in Lawag is 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:28In Baguio, it is 17 to 25 degrees Celsius.

01:34In Togagarao, it is also 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
01:37In Tagaytay, it is 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
01:40In Legazpi, it is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
01:44In some parts of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,
01:47we expect that there will be a high chance of rain in Palawan along the ITCZ,
01:51or Intertropical Convergence Zone.
01:53This is where the wind blows from the north and the southern hemispheres.
02:01The water temperature in Kalayaan Islands is 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:06In Puerto Princesa, it is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:23While in Tacloban, the water temperature is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:28In Mindanao, where the ITCZ is affected,
02:32we expect that there will be a high chance of rain
02:35in the parts of Zamboanga Peninsula,
02:37BARB, Soxargen, and Davao Region.
02:40Be careful, my fellow countrymen,
02:42especially in the potential of sudden floods, flash floods,
02:45and landslides caused by the ITCZ.
02:51Most of Mindanao will experience isolated rain.
02:57The water temperature in Zamboanga is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:01In Davao, it is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

04:16Always drink water to avoid the effects of high heat or heat stress.
04:22In Metro Manila, the heat index is 37 to 39 degrees Celsius.
04:30As for our ocean, we can see that it is in the middle of the ocean.
04:37Despite the vastness of the ocean and the small boats in our baybays,
04:41we do not have a high gale warning in any part of our waters.
04:48Our time is 5.48 a.m. to 6.09 p.m.
