A severe ice storm has transformed parts of northern Michigan into a frozen wonderland, leaving trees, homes, and roads coated in thick ice.

The storm covered the region with up to 1.5 inches of ice and causing widespread power outages.

Jackie Hutchinson, 40, from Elmira, Michigan, documented the aftermath, capturing stunning images and videos of her property encased in ice with trees and structures frozen solid.

Jackie said: "We were blown away but grateful we have a generator to keep water running for our horses and goats."
