00:00Bristol Rovers head coach Inigo Calderon has made clear that his side must take confidence from their performance against Birmingham City, but that they must also continue to improve as a team for the rest of the season.
00:14No, I haven't changed too much from last night. It was a mix of emotions, yes, because I think we deserved more from the game, but I think, again, last Saturday we deserved more from the game.
00:29Unfortunately, they don't give us any points because of how much you deserve, so it's how much you get, and we didn't get anything from the last two games, so that means that we have to do better.
00:40Because if we start to feel unlucky or the ref or whatever, then we are wasting our time and then we have to be focused on the things we have to do and we still have to improve things.
00:51Because I think, as I said yesterday, the start of the game was not good enough and after there was a lack of concentration, just a split of a second, but the moment we are damaged, that's enough to lose a football game.
01:04So that's the thing, you know, you're trying to reduce that and then we'll be closer to getting the points.
01:11And Calderon went on to make clear that against Bolton, his side must play on the front foot if they are to end their recent away drought in terms of points.
01:21Bolton, though, are a side that Rovers beat just recently at home in the division.
01:26The good thing, I think we've been performing good against good teams. You know, I think Huddersfield, Bolton, Birmingham yesterday.
01:33I think we performed better, probably, than the teams that are not as high on the table. So that has to give us confidence.
01:40Obviously, being away is going to be more difficult, but obviously, we tried to work from the last game and try.
01:45Because for me, that was a clear example, again, because in the first half, I don't think we were that good. In the second half, we were much better.
01:51And sometimes, just the way we approach the game, you know, I think when we are on the front foot, I think we are a better team.
01:57Even yesterday, the first ten minutes we were on the back foot, we are not comfortable. You know, there are teams that are happy waiting.
02:04I don't think we are good in this. I think we have to be full on. And when we do that, I think we are a better team.
