Robert Irwin is giving a peek at what's down under. The son of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin leaves very little to the imagination in racy new ads for Bonds, the Australian underwear brand that's launching in the U.S., and he tells PEOPLE that he had no hesitation about his nearly naked modeling moment. "It was a pretty immediate yes," the 21-year-old conservationist and TV personality says with a laugh.

00:00I'd think about what dad would say about it, there'd be a few crikies thrown around.
00:05My sister particularly was, her first reaction was, what?
00:12She was like, it's just so, I'm so proud of you, it's so strange to see my little brother
00:17like doing this, but it's awesome and go you, and I'm like, thank you.
00:22And yet my mom, my sister, my brother-in-law Chandler, he's a professional wakeboarder,
00:26he's an athlete, so he gave me a lot of great tips.
00:29And my mom actually did bodybuilding.
00:31Mate, she had bigger biceps than I'll ever have.
00:34My family are just so supportive.
00:35I just love them so much.
00:37They're the solid foundation to everything I do and everything we do together.
00:43It is, it's together.
00:44We're all trying to continue an important legacy that my dad started.
00:49And for me, I've gotten to find my own individual ways of doing that.
00:54And sometimes that comes in the form of modelling bonds.
