Transcript
00:00So my name's Charlotte Watterson and I look after hospitality and events with marketing with my
00:07colleague Liam Miller across the railways and obviously for bus fanning as well. It is amazing
00:13this is the last one of the four obviously for the railways and we have so many visitors,
00:20thousands of visitors actually across the whole railways. We've you know launched the Max Electric
00:24Railway, the Steam, Snaefell Mountain Railway and now obviously the final one for this year
00:31is Douglas Bay Horse Tramway and as my colleague said we have so many people coming to visit this
00:37year, cruise ship passengers and it's almost like going back to that bygone age isn't it
00:44you know of travel, the Victorian, you know Victoriana and being able to get onto the
00:51Douglas Bay Horse Tramway and go along the prom, go on the trams up to the mountain and then go on
00:57one of the beautiful steam trains so it's a very special place the Isle of Man and it's a really
01:03special heritage railway. So obviously when you pass them just be sensible, don't toot your horns
01:08or anything and just drive at a sensible speed. The horses know what they're doing, the driver
01:14and the conductor know what they're doing as well and obviously people have come to enjoy looking at
01:19the view and going on the trams. It's a bit slow at the start of the season but obviously as you
01:25get into the middle of the season for all the all the trams, all the trains, they all get busier
01:29throughout the year and obviously once you get into the summer which we've already got obviously
01:35because it's always sunny on the Isle of Man, it's a very very busy time we get thousands of people.
01:41Just come and enjoy it, it really is a magical experience and you'll have the best time.
