01:35We want people, by the way, to come into our country, but we want them to come in through
01:39a legal process.
01:40We want them to come in legally.
01:42We need more people.
01:43We need people to run these plants and to help the autoworkers and the Teamsters and
01:48the non-union people and everybody else.
01:51But we need people — and the farmers.
01:52And we're going to let people come in, but they want to come in.
01:55And we want them to come in legally.
01:56They have to have the capability of loving our country, not people that hate our country.
02:00We don't want them in our country.
02:02And now we're going to pass the largest tax cuts in American history.
02:08And that's where we're relying on Mike and John Thune.
02:11And we will not cut Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid benefits.
02:17And the Democrats will, because if they got in, the entire economy would collapse.
02:22This country was heading for a collapse under the people that you saw.
02:28They were horrible.
02:29And I think one of the reasons people like the job — I have my highest approval ratings
02:32because I think they're comparing me to the worst administration in the history of
02:37our country.
02:38So I appreciate that, at least.
02:41But Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader — appreciate it,
02:46Mike.
02:47John Thune have been fantastic, by the way.
02:51But they've been working tirelessly on taking the next step to pass the plan for our One
02:56Big Beautiful Bill.
02:58I'd like to name it that, if you can.
03:00One Big — I made that statement about six months ago, and everybody calls it One Big
03:04Beautiful Bill.
03:06And it will be that.
03:07It'll have everything — the big tax cuts and every incentive there is.
03:11And it'll be fantastic.
03:13And by the way, for the cars, we're asking for an interest deduction on a loan.
03:18So if you build the car — only in America we do it, Brian.
03:21If the car is not built in America, you don't get the interest rate deduction.
03:25But if you build the car in America, if you buy a car, if it's built in America, then
03:31you get an interest rate deduction, tax deduction.
03:34And that's a big thing.
03:36That's going to be a big thing.
03:37I think that's going to pay for itself very quickly, that deduction.
03:40Never happened.
03:41We've never had anything like that before.
03:43Somebody said, where do you get the idea?
03:44Because it's so basic.
03:45You would think that would have happened a long time ago.
03:48It never did, and I'm very happy it didn't because now I can say that was my idea.
03:55But we're going to get us closer to the debt extension.
03:59We have to get the debt extension passed, and I know you're going to be able to do
04:02that, Mike.
04:03And it's very important that you do that.
04:05And all of the other things that the Senate budget plan gives us, along with working — because
04:10I know they're working together, John and Mike.
04:13And the two bills are going very well together.
04:15We need to get our shared priorities done, including certain permanent tax cuts.
04:20We want the tax cuts to be permanent, spending cuts, energy, and historic investments in
04:25defense, border, and so much more.
04:27We're covering everything.
04:29These will be phenomenal.
04:31There'll be no bill like this.
04:32It's going to straighten — one bill is going to straighten out our country for many,
04:36many years to come.
04:37And we said, let's just do it and let's get it done.
04:40And some guys will love it, and some guys will like it a little bit less because they're
04:44not getting what they were exactly looking for, but they're getting a lot.
04:48They'll never — if we get this done, it'll be the most incredible bill ever passed in
04:53the history of our Congress and Senate and congressmen — the senators and the congressmen,
04:59many of whom are here today — will be very proud of themselves.
05:02I really believe that.
05:03It's going to set us on a whole new, prosperous path.
05:07We're going to cut spending and right-size the budget back to where it should be.
05:11And we're going to do that very strongly.

05:20That's a nice group of people.
05:23But I won't like them so much if they don't get this bill done.

05:33The Senate plan is my complete and total support, and the House plan, likewise, is very similar.
05:39They're moving along pretty much at the same clip, and as soon as you're ready, you'll
05:43show it to me, and I'm sure it'll have my support, Mike.
05:46Every Republican congressman and senator must unify.
05:50We have to unify.
05:51We can't be separated.
05:53We have to get it done.
05:54We have to get absolutely everything we can, and we have to take care of the American people.
05:58That's the only thing that matters.
05:59We have to take care of the American people first.
06:02We need to pass this bill immediately.
06:05Get it done, including debt extension.
06:08From this day on, we're not going to let anyone tell us that American workers and families
06:12cannot have the future that they deserve.
06:15We're going to produce the cars and ships, chips, airplanes, minerals, and medicines
06:20that we need right here in America.
06:23The pharmaceutical companies are going to become roaring back.
06:26They're coming roaring back.
06:28They're all coming back to our country, because if they don't, they've got a big tax to pay.
06:33And if they do, I'll be very happy, and you're going to be very happy, and you're going to
06:37be very safe.
06:38We're going to build our future with American hands, with American heart, American steel,
06:44and we're going to build it with American pride like we used to.
06:48We're approaching our 100th day as President, and have been given credit by a lot of people,
06:55actually, even some of the fake news.
06:58Can you believe it?
06:59Which, in this case, hopefully isn't fake.
07:02For having done more in that time than any other administration in the history of our
07:06country in the first 100 days, I think we've had an amazing, in terms of what we've done,
07:12what we've gotten accomplished.
07:13I'd like to see if we can get that war ended, and another war from not starting in the Middle
07:20East.
07:21We have to get Russia.
07:22They're losing 2,000 on average, 2,500 people a day, young people, soldiers, Russian.
07:30Think of that.
07:312,500 through some days, but on average, probably over about a one-week period, it's 2,712,
07:40they say.
07:41They're losing those soldiers, they're dying, they're being decimated.
07:46And they're not from our country, but they're from other countries, but they're human beings.
07:52They're from Russia, they're from Ukraine in this period, most of them, and we're going
07:57to get it stopped.
07:58It's a senseless war that would have never happened if I was President, and it shouldn't
08:02be allowed to go on.
08:04And I think we're being given good cooperation by Russia and by Ukraine, but we have to get
08:12it stopped.
08:13It's humanity.
08:14It's humanity.
08:15It's a terrible thing.
08:16This will be a very big moment.
08:19I think you're going to remember today, it's going to be a free nation that we're dealing
08:23with.
08:24We're going to have a very free and beautiful nation.
08:26It's going to be Liberation Day in America, and it's going to be a day that hopefully
08:31you're going to look back in years to come and you're going to say, you know, he was
08:34right.
08:35This has turned out to be one of the most important days in the history of our country.
