00:02This is our weather update for April 3, 2025.
00:06At the moment, the northeasterly wind flow is being affected,
00:10or the wind from the northeast,
00:11so that it will be windy,
00:12but it will be weaker when it comes to the difference in temperature.
00:18This will bring clouds
00:20here in the eastern part of Northern Luzon,
00:22and this includes rain and thunderstorms.
00:24In the western part of Northern Luzon,
00:26the sky is clear,
00:28but there are still chances of isolated thunderstorms and rain.
00:33On the other side,
00:34including Metro Manila,
00:35the easterly wind is being affected.
00:38This is the warm wind from the Pacific Ocean
00:40that can bring a warm and clear feeling.
00:44And this also brings convective clouds
00:47where it can bring rain and induce thunderstorms.
00:51So we may also experience thunderstorms,
00:56but this is just a reminder.
00:59For our forecast for tomorrow,
01:01the northeasterly wind flow will continue to be affected,
01:06and this will bring cloudy skies
01:08that include thunderstorms here in the northeastern part of Luzon.
01:12And in the remaining part of Luzon,
01:14the sky is clear,
01:16and this includes rain and thunderstorms,
01:21especially in the afternoon.
01:22The temperature in Metro Manila is from 26 to 32.
01:26In Baguio, it is from 17 to 25.
01:29In Lawag, it is 25 to 33.
01:31In Tuguegarao, it is 23 to 31.
01:33In Legazpi, it is 26 to 31.
01:35And in Tagaytay, it is 31 to 24.
01:38Here in Palawan,
01:40we will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies
01:44that may have isolated rain, showers, and thunderstorms
01:49here in Puerto Princesa and Calayaan Islands.
01:51The high temperature in Puerto Princesa is 25 to 33,
01:55and 27 to 32 in Calayaan Islands.
01:58Here in Visayas and Mindanao,
02:00because of the easterlies,
02:01we will continue to experience partly hot, sunny, morning, and afternoon,
02:09but there are chances of thunderstorms,
02:11especially in the afternoon and at night.
02:13The high temperature in Cebu is 25 to 31.
02:16In Tacloban, it is 26 to 32.
02:18In Cagayan de Oro,
02:20it is 25 to 31.
02:21And in Davao, it is 25 to 33.
02:24At the moment, we are not being warned of any bad weather or thunderstorms.
02:29We are expecting that until next week.
02:31Climatologically, or based on historical data,
02:34we are expecting 0 to 1 thunderstorms during the month of April.
02:41At the moment, we do not have a high-level gale warning.
02:44This means that it is possible
02:46that our fellow Filipinos who are fishermen and seafarers will catch a cold.
02:50But let us be careful in the northern part of Luzon,
02:54especially in Batanes and Baboyan Islands.
02:57For our 3-day weather outlook,
03:00or the time we are expecting,
03:02starting on Saturdays, weekends,
03:04until Monday, April 5 to April 7,
03:08in Metro Manila and Baguio,
03:10we will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies
03:14with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
03:17But here in Legazpi,
03:19because of the Easter lease,
03:22we can experience cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms.
03:28That is on Saturday.
03:30On Sunday and Monday,
03:32we will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
03:36In Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City,
03:40we will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
03:44It is cloudy in the morning and afternoon,
03:47but there are still chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
03:53Here in Mindanao, in Metro Davao to be specific,
03:57on Saturday and Sunday,
03:59because of the possible propagation of ITZZ,
04:02it will bring cloudy skies.
04:05That is why we are warning our fellow Filipinos in Metro Davao
04:09that on Saturday and Sunday,
04:10they can experience cloudy skies
04:13with rain showers and thunderstorms.
04:16The continuous rain or thunderstorm activity there
04:20that can trigger floods or landslides,
04:23we are advising them to be careful,
04:26especially in flood-prone areas.
04:28But on Monday,
04:29partly cloudy to cloudy skies will return to Metro Davao.
04:33In Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga City,
04:35because of the combined effects of ETZZ and ITZZ,
04:39its propagation upward,
04:40we will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
04:45So, it will be cloudy and the area in our country will continue to increase
04:50and the heat index will increase.
04:52With the departure of the north easterly wind flow,
04:57we will continue to experience,
04:59in the coming days and weeks,
05:01high heat index values.
05:03Also, it is good to explain

05:10When the temperature is high,
