Ishant Sharma removed captain Rajat Patidar (12) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru were in trouble on 42/4. It is then Jitesh Sharma (33) and Liam Livingstone (54) stitched a short partnership with Jitesh taking the charge. Livingstone scored a half-century and powered by a strong finish from Tim David (32), Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 169/8. Mohammed Siraj was particularly deadly with the ball registering a spell of 3/19. He received good support from Sai Kishore (2/22). Chasing it, Gujarat Titans lost Shubman Gill (14) cheaply, but Sai Sudharsan (49), Jos Buttler (73*) and Sherfane Rutherford (30*) combined to take them over the line. It was Gujarat Titans' second win of the season and first defeat for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
