पूर्वी चंपारण, बिहार: प्रधानमंत्री भारतीय जन औषधि परियोजना के तहत बिहार के पूर्वी चंपारण जिले में खोले गए जन औषधि केंद्र गरीब तबके के लोगों के लिए वरदान साबित हो रहे हैं। यहां मरीजों को मार्केट रेट से 90 प्रतिशत तक कम कीमत पर गुणवत्तापूर्ण दवाएं मिल रही है। इस जिले में तकरीबन 75 जन औषधि केंद्र खोले गए हैं। मोतिहारी में प्रधानमंत्री जन औषधि केंद्र की संचालक अंकिता कुमारी ने बताया कि इसके जरिए व आत्मनिर्भर बनी है और उन्हें हर महीने अच्छी कमाई भी हो रही है। उन्होंने ये भी बताया कि महिलाओं को खास तौर पर बहुत लाभ हुआ है, क्योंकि इन केंद्रों पर सिर्फ एक रुपये सैनेटरी पैड मिलता है, जिससे महिलाओं को पीरियड्स के समय होने वाली बीमारियों से निजात मिली है। जन औषधि केंद्र से दवाएं खरीदने वाले ग्राहकों के मुताबिक उन्हें हर महीने तीन हजार रुपये तक की बचत होती है। गरीबों के लिए ये केंद्र बहुत लाभदायक हैं। ग्राहकों ने इस योजना के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को धन्यवाद भी कहा।
