00:00I've been racing all my life, let's go!
00:03It's in our blood.
00:06Racing is everything to me.
00:10And across the country, there are amazing historic racetracks,
00:13featuring some of the best local racers.
00:16I've been racing all my life, let's go!
00:19It's in our blood.
00:22Racing is everything to me.
00:25And across the country, there are amazing historic racetracks,
00:28featuring some of the best local racers.
00:31It's one of the fastest cars in Kentucky.
00:34I just feel like it's my time to shine.
00:37Hurt some feelings, turn on some wind lights.
00:40I feel like I could bust something like that.
00:43Every weekend, we're heading to a new track,
00:46where eight of the area's best will compete head-to-head.
00:49I'm here to beat all of them. We're here to win.
00:52Ain't nobody safe on them streets.
00:55Real as it gets. Regular guys.
00:58Driving cars they put their hearts...
01:01Building it from scratch, it holds a special sentimental value to me.
01:04Their souls...
01:06That is my father. He passed away in the middle of the build.
01:09You never got to see him.
01:11And their paychecks in tune.
01:13All budget. Bumper to bumper.
01:15All for a shot to win $10,000.
01:17I hope your pocket just like that attitude.
01:20Here we go, here we go!
01:22It's a chance to take down a surprise street outlaw.
01:25Everybody make some noise!
01:27Damon, number one no-prepper in the country right now.
01:31I feel real good about my chances.
01:34I think that they might have underestimated the blue team.
01:38SCREAMING
01:40SCREAMING
01:46This is Locals Only.
01:49CHEERING
02:01We're back. Dude, Ohio has never looked better.
02:04Or hotter.
02:06Let's go back in there. Let's go back in.
02:08Let's go back in. It is a far sight to be hot out here.
02:11Let's go back in. We gotta go. Come on.
02:13OK. Come on. Let's go.
02:16I'm Farm Truck.
02:17And I'm Asian. We're long-time racers
02:19and we're mostly known for driving a beat-up old farm truck
02:22and cruising around town.
02:29That's money in the pocket right there.
02:31You got me driving.
02:33And we race all over the country, even in Australia.
02:36We are the hosts and the race masters for today's event,
02:40better known as Locals Only,
02:42where we travel to different racetracks across the country
02:45and wrangle up eight local drivers
02:47for their chance to win $10,000.
02:50CHEERING
02:52I got one thing to say here to all the people of Ohio.
02:55O-H!
02:57Yeah!
02:59This week, we're at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio,
03:03which is just 30 miles east of Columbus.
03:07With a population of only around 2,400,
03:10this track has been pulling in racers
03:12from all over the state since 1964.
03:14It got its name from US Route 40,
03:16which is also known as National Trail
03:18and was the fifth-largest racing facility in the country.
03:21And the style of racing we're about to see here
03:24is called no-prep,
03:26which is when the track is not sprayed
03:28with any adhesive or traction compound,
03:30making it more similar to racing on the street.
03:34That means the car with the most horsepower
03:37does not necessarily win.
03:40CRASH
03:42You really have to tune your car to the track conditions
03:45because if you start spinning out,
03:47you lose control of your car.
03:49You've got to buy a new car.
03:51Oh, no!
03:53Clear the starting line!
03:55All right, Ohio, these are your eight hometown heroes going at it.
04:00You guys are racing for ten grand today.
04:02These eight drivers will race
04:04until there is one left standing to earn $5,000.
04:08And then that racer will take on a street outlaw
04:11for another $5,000.
04:13So they don't know who they're going to go up against,
04:16but we do.
04:18And in this case, it's 405 legend Doc Love.
04:23Doc Love is an OG street outlaw
04:25and one of the original members of the 405.
04:31Good job, baby. Good job, good job.
04:33Nice job, baby. All right, let's do this.
04:35He's a constant powerhouse
04:37and is a threat to whoever challenges him on the track.
04:40Come on, bro.
04:42We are not laying down.
04:44We're going to put a home run tune-up in it.
04:46We're going to give her a hell of a race and hopefully get that win.
04:49So you boys get ready, get the cars hooked up,
04:51get some air in those tires and put the right shoes on.
04:54The first round match-ups are set,
04:56and it's time to get racing.
05:05This is you? All right.
05:07Dan. Dan the man.
05:09Dan Utt. Dan Utt.
05:11It's nut without the N.
05:13Gotcha. Easy to remember.
05:15Utt. Dan Utt.
05:17Mansfield, Ohio.
05:19I drive a 1966 Chevy II Nova.
05:22It has one of them GM LS motors in it,
05:26you know, the almighty god motor.
05:28All steel, all glass.
05:31Got them wheels on it.
05:33My day job is I'm a land surveyor for an engineering firm.
05:36I got into cars a long time ago.
05:41Drag racing is better than any drug.
05:44Oh, wow. I wonder where these are from.
05:46Well, Dragway 42, that's a two-time champion right there.
05:51My strategy is to race the track.
05:54I'm going to put it all on and just drive it with the pedal.
05:57I feel like I could bust somebody's ass.
06:01Ah!
06:03Make it happen. See you, guys.
06:05Cool.
06:07Bob? Yeah.
06:09What's up, man? Nice to meet you, man. How are you?
06:11It's good. Doing all right? Yeah, doing great.
06:13Holy crap. You borrow those from Ryan Martin?
06:16Yep. Holy wow, dude.
06:18There's a lot of race car on this, isn't there? Yeah, there is.
06:21My name's Bob Morrison from Sunbury, Ohio.
06:24I have a 2000 Camaro Z28, 429 cubic inch LS.
06:29It's got twin on-three 85-millimeter turbos.
06:32Made a hair over 2,000 horsepower.
06:35I also tune cars for a living.
06:38I think competition allows people to push themselves to be better,
06:41and coming out racing every weekend, it forces you to learn things you didn't know before,
06:44and that's the fun in it for me.
06:47Do you know the other people that you're going up against?
06:50I haven't raced against a ton of them. We're spread out a little bit.
06:53But I do know most of them and about where we're at.
06:55Is there anyone that the group doesn't like? Like, who the hell is this guy?
06:58No, I don't think so. Everybody's pretty good around here.
07:00It could be you. It could be me, right?
07:02If I don't know, then it's probably me. That's right.
07:05Bob's car has a lot of really nice race car parts on it.
07:08Lightweight suspension. Prototype turbo.
07:11No radiator. It's a light race car.
07:14He's got a good chance of winning this thing if he can get the power.
07:17I agree with all of that, yeah. We know that guy.
07:20I'll see you guys later. See you guys later.
07:22Wait, I'm going with you. Yeah, come on. Let's go.
07:24Hey, it's good to meet you, Bob. Yeah, same to you guys.
07:29Here they go. Heading to the line. First round.
07:32Locals only. Put up or shut up.
07:35Let's see who gets sent home or moves forward.
07:38Second round.
07:45All right.
07:47There's a lot on the line for these hometown heroes of Ohio.
07:51$5,000.
07:55Plus a chance for another $5,000
07:58to race out of their league against a street outlaw.
08:20It's the Camaro in the right lane!
08:24All right. Bob Morrison moves on to end up.
08:27Got to take it home and put it back on the trailer.
08:30Track was greasy. Definitely pedaled fast,
08:33but he had a real soft tune-up in it.
08:36We felt pretty confident that we outpowered him by a significant amount,
08:39so we can leave fairly soft and pour it in out back and still get the wins.
08:43It was slow.
08:45Because I pedaled the ****** lane.
08:47But here's what it is.
08:55Who owns this car? That'd be me.
08:57What do you do with this car? Drive it through hailstorms.
09:00****** it, uh, every week or two.
09:03So it's raced a lot? Yeah.
09:05My name's Tom Sewell. I live just outside of Youngstown, Ohio.
09:08I'm driving a 1989 Nissan 240SX.
09:11It's an LS. It's got a 94-millimeter turbo on it.
09:14It's got a Powerglide transmission.
09:16It's still stock suspension. It's a street car.
09:18We drive it all over the place. We put a few thousand miles on it every year.
09:22I don't care that my car is ugly.
09:24My car is all about function over form.
09:27I actually slept with a hammer and screwdriver when I was 2 years old.
09:30Not a play hammer and screwdriver, a real hammer and screwdriver.
09:33I've been taking motors apart, so it's kind of just ingrained in my skin.
09:36The thought of me losing drives me nuts more than anything.
09:39From the looks of things, this is a pretty light car.
09:42No, it's heavy. Oh, it is heavy.
09:44Everything's there. It's all stock. It's got a milestone gauge.
09:46Everything there but the seats. The seats are there.
09:48Back seats are in there. You can ride in the back.
09:50Get in the back seat. Yeah. Prove it.
09:52I'm not crawling my fat butt back there for free.
09:54It's your car. You've got to get in the back seat.
09:56You built it. You said that you could get in there.
09:59You're making me crawl on this thing. He's done this once.
10:02I haven't done it in about 5 years.
10:04I'm going to go ahead and start it here. Yep. Get it back there.
10:06I'm doing it. Get it back there.
10:08You guys are just trying to drive my car, aren't you?
10:10All right. How are you going to stop us now?
10:12We've got what we need here.
10:15Hell yeah.
10:17The car, it's rough. It's dirty.
10:19But I like his style. Yeah.
10:21It's farm truck style. Thank you, guys.
10:23Good luck. Appreciate it. Thank you.
10:25Thank you, brother. All right.
10:28We're looking for a Ryan with a B.
10:30That's right here. You again?
10:32That's me again. This is really your race car, isn't it?
10:34Yeah, you mother-
10:36Me and Ryan, or Brian.
10:38With a B.
10:40We've been racing all over the country together.
10:42Whose car is this? It's your car. Okay.
10:44All right. Cool.
10:46My name is Brian Horsky. I'm from Mogador, Ohio.
10:48I drive a 95 Camaro,
10:50388 cubic inch LS,
10:52aluminum block engine.
10:54I'm a plant manager of a stamping plant.
10:56We make chassis parts
10:58for Volvo and Mack semi-trucks.
11:00I love racing. Racing has been a part of my entire life,
11:02from bicycles to motorcycles,
11:04four-wheelers, you name it.
11:08Super close with my dad.
11:10We've built the entire thing from the ground up.
11:12Both my dad and uncle raced,
11:14and so I've been at the track my whole life.
11:16It was something that I was destined to do.
11:18I'm not going to take it easy on anybody today.
11:20I always put as much in the car
11:22as I think the track will take.
11:24I'm very competitive.
11:26I hate losing more than I like winning.
11:28You got this on methanol?
11:30Pump E85.
11:32Okay, E85.
11:34Look in it? Absolutely.
11:36Drive it if you want to.
11:38Thank you. Appreciate that.
11:40You seem to be pretty calm right now.
11:42I'm just good at faking, I guess.
11:44You know the guy I'm talking about?
11:46Brian.
11:48Yeah, that's right. That's what I said.
11:50Dude, awesome car.
11:52It's a contender. He's a little outgunned,
11:54but he might be able to do well.
11:56Firing him up.
11:58Heading to the line.
12:00These guys know each other very well.
12:02This is going to be racer versus tuner.
12:06This guy's brought a bit of a sleeper,
12:08but I have a sneaky suspicion
12:10that it's not exactly what he says it's going to be.
12:12He totally went farm truck style on this thing.
12:18Something's going on.
12:20He ain't even doing a burnout.
12:22Definitely something going on.
12:24No burnout in the left lane.
12:26Here we go.
12:36Definitely something going on.
12:38No burnout in the left lane.
12:40Here we go.
12:58Right lane Camaro
13:00spitting porous off the car.
13:02What fell off the car?
13:04You got a souvenir for the fans?
13:06Give that one away.
13:08Throw that into the crowd.
13:10Looks like he spit a belt off the car.
13:12Oh, okay.
13:18Taking the table.
13:20Don't do that. Those are my tools.
13:22All right.
13:24This thing looks excessive.
13:26It's just some something we had laying around.
13:28It's just a little small boy.
13:30Dude, this thing's gone fast. You're peeling the paint off.
13:32Damn, bro.
13:34I'm Robbie Petrel. I'm from Morrow County, Ohio.
13:36I drive a 93 Mustang called Agent Orange.
13:38It's a conventionally headed
13:40small block Ford, small turbo,
13:42runs on methanol, all steel, all glass,
13:44still has roll-up windows, full interior street car.
13:46I love going fast. I'm an adrenaline junkie.
13:52My family owns J&J Auto Parts.
13:54I built the car out of the shop there,
13:56pulling pieces out of the yard until we got a motor that was good.
13:58Grew up here as a kid running around the track.
14:00We race here a bunch.
14:02I have probably over 100 passes at this track.
14:04I'm the local kid that everybody knows
14:06that just runs around everywhere,
14:08and now it's kind of cool to be on the big screen
14:10and get to be actually known, get my 15 minutes of fame.
14:16This thing runs, right?
14:18It's pretty good for what it is.
14:20That's good. You're a humble guy.
14:22So you don't have any secrets to hide over here.
14:24No. No, I'm actually proud that it's still got a Ford motor in it.
14:26I see that.
14:28I try and show that off.
14:30Most of them have LSs or bigger small block Chevys.
14:32All right. Thank you.
14:34Very good to meet you.
14:36Good talking to you.
14:38Looking for a green Fairmont.
14:40This is it right here.
14:42Oh, what a great car.
14:44Dude, bench seat.
14:46This is my kind of car.
14:48It's not gonna work.
14:50Oh, the key's in it.
14:52Oh.
14:54There we go. There we go.
14:56Ha-ha!
14:58What can you do? What can you do?
15:00There we go. Ha-ha-ha!
15:02Let's just hope they don't run out of gas
15:04or find the nitrous button. Oh, my God.
15:06My name's Irv McCarty.
15:08I'm from Obetz, Ohio.
15:10I'm driving a 1979 Ford Fairmont Boxstop,
15:12just like anybody's grandmother should have.
15:14It's not your typical race car.
15:16I literally bought the car for 200 bucks.
15:18It's got 428 cubic inches.
15:20It's got a 200 progressive shot of nitrous oxide.
15:22And it still has all the stock interior,
15:24including the interior trim.
15:26It's got all the interior trim.
15:28It still has all the stock interior,
15:30including the bench seat.
15:32There's a lot of cancer survivors
15:34around my family,
15:36and we're really praying
15:38for Lizzie to make it through.
15:40I added some pink pinstripes,
15:42added the breast cancer awareness stickers,
15:44and they're not there
15:46because I think they're pretty.
15:48They're there because I care.
15:50Oh, yeah.
15:52What do you think?
15:54You got a pretty sweet ride.
15:56I love it.
15:58First of all,
16:00I love the green,
16:02and I love the pink.
16:04It's not a Mustang, but it kind of is.
16:06Yeah, it is.
16:08Which is awesome for you.
16:10It has a four-inch longer wheelbase.
16:12It's kind of like a ProMod.
16:14It's actually better than a Mustang
16:16with that wheelbase.
16:18It's a little more controllable.
16:20We got a street car, Irv,
16:22going against a little more race car type car.
16:24He's going to get the hit.
16:26I'll give you a hit if you give me the left lane.
16:28He wants the hit.
16:30If you want to give him the left lane,
16:32I'll counter that.
16:34And he probably should have negotiated
16:36a little bit thicker.
16:38He didn't. He's going to get what he gets.
16:40Go do it!
16:42Yeah! Yeah!
16:44All right!
16:48Our truck actually drove this car
16:50this weekend.
16:52It's your regular garage build.
16:54A little nitrous on it.
16:56It's a little out of date.
16:58We'll see if that's enough.
17:00We can move on to the next round.
17:16The Fairmont giving him a run for his money.
17:18It's the Fairmont!
17:20The Fairmont!
17:22The street car takes out the race car!
17:24Awesome!
17:26What a great drag race right there.
17:32Oh, wow.
17:34What a cool car.
17:36Son of a gun, dude.
17:38Dang, dude.
17:40You bought the paint?
17:42Yes, sir.
17:44We took pride in the paint.
17:46Did you double gusset?
17:48The window is riveted here
17:50and to the sheet metal on the inside.
17:52You ain't going through a drive-thru in this.
17:54Oh, no.
17:56My name is Alex Hobbs, also known as Hobbular.
17:58I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I'm 20 years old.
18:00Here is my 1974
18:02Chevrolet Camaro
18:04Z28.
18:06Powered by a 509 cubic inch
18:08big block Chevy on two stages of nitrous.
18:10It has a Rossler TH400 in it.
18:12The car is really
18:14souped up, and I'm very excited to be racing it.
18:18It's a dream come true
18:20to meet you guys because, hey,
18:22I'm a first generation racer
18:24in my family. I started watching
18:26season one of Street Outlaws, and I
18:28never turned a wrench in my life.
18:30Just watching you guys and the whole
18:32Oklahoma City crew just motivated me to
18:34get into this. All the OG Street
18:36Outlaws guys, the guys from season one, season
18:38two, Daddy Dave and his old car,
18:40it's really what just inspired me to get into
18:42racing. You guys part of the crew?
18:44Good to meet you guys. Yeah, that's my dad
18:46and my brother. Dad, brother.
18:48The paint, me and him, this
18:50car never looked like this before.
18:52It was really ugly. It was purple.
18:54None of the stuff fit here.
18:56And me and Drew did the body work on
18:58this thing, and he painted it with a house of
19:00color candy paint. It is a dream come true.
19:02I mean, I was talking to my
19:04dad three years ago when we were here, and I was like,
19:06man, we're going to be here someday, and here
19:08we are, you know? All right. Yes, sir.
19:10Good luck out there, boys. Thank you.
19:12We'll see you.
19:14Dang, dude.
19:16Boy, you almost tripped over that. This thing's
19:18sharp. Holy crap. If you put
19:20your ear real close to it, you can
19:22hear the bull****.
19:26Caleb. What's up, man?
19:28I love the name. Clocked Out.
19:30Clocked Out? Correct. Because you do all this
19:32after work. That's exactly where
19:34it came from. My name is Caleb
19:36Miller, and I'm from Middletown, Ohio. Have you ever
19:38wondered what a fire-breathing
19:40dragon and a panther
19:42created? They made a baby.
19:44Oh, this is it. The
19:461987 Chevy Camaro.
19:48What I have here is a pair of twins,
19:50and they're feeding a 7,000
19:52cubic centimeter dark block LS.
19:54Makes about 2,000
19:56ball of eagle power.
19:58Probably what I love the most about
20:00the racing is just the brotherhood.
20:02If we win the five grand, I don't have
20:04too much of a plan. And the second five grand,
20:06if we win, it's got a little bit different purpose.
20:08We actually just had a buddy that
20:10passed away. His name's Trey Thomas.
20:12He loved cars, and everyone that loved cars
20:14loved him. That was a pretty big loss for us.
20:16That second five grand is gonna
20:18go to his girlfriend and his son
20:20to help with funeral costs or just whatever they may need.
20:22So we're not racing for us,
20:24really. We're racing for a little bit
20:26higher purpose.
20:28You guys aren't doing any work on it. It's a turbo car.
20:30All right. I'll get work on turbo cars.
20:32I understand. You do all the work with the
20:34fabrication of the turbos and
20:36turbo pipes and everything. Yeah, yeah.
20:38It lasts you a long time. Everything you see here
20:40is what I built. This was a
20:42rock-stock six-cylinder car when I got it.
20:44All right, man.
20:46Thanks. Appreciate you guys.
20:48Nice meeting you guys.
20:52A lot of pressure on these
20:54guys. They got one chance at this.
20:56Everything they've been
20:58practicing has led up to this very moment.
21:00How you doing?
21:08All right, Alex over here in the left lane.
21:10He's only 20 years old.
21:12This man right here in this Camaro
21:14saw the show
21:16Street Outlaws and was
21:18inspired by it. He wanted
21:20to be a street outlaw. Look at him
21:22now, 20 years old.
21:24If I'd have had this car when I was in high school
21:26with a journey eight track.
21:28Woo-hoo!
21:38If I'd have had this car
21:40when I was in high school
21:42with a journey eight track.
21:44Woo-hoo!
22:02Oh! The dumpster has to
22:04pedal the Camaro!
22:06And the right lane takes it home.
22:12I'm just bummed out I lost.
22:14I have the second kit that I'm new to.
22:16I grabbed it too early
22:18and it really upset the car.
22:20I just got too aggressive with it.
22:22I saw he was kind of out on me just a little
22:24so I grabbed it and the car just instantly
22:26just went left, so
22:28it's what it is.
22:30Swung forward too hard.
22:32I'm just bummed out.
22:34Swung forward too hard.
22:36Come give me a hug.
22:38Hey, good race, dude.
22:40For sure.
22:42It's Gracie up there, man.
22:44I'm happy for Caleb. We both race
22:46each other. Someone gets to move on.
22:48We're at most of the same races.
22:50Probably see him next week, honestly.
22:52I owe him one now, so we'll see.
22:54Good job, dude. Go win it.
22:56I'm going to try, dude.
22:58We're going to give it everything we got.
23:00Hey, thanks, brother.
23:02That's the first round.
23:10Oh my God, it's a long walk
23:12from the starting line. Had to run up there
23:14and catch the locals, guys. They're down to the
23:16final four. I feel like we got a little bit
23:18of a heads up. I know them.
23:20They don't know me yet. Whenever
23:22I get to race whoever it is, I'm just
23:24trying to come as prepared
23:26as I can. I was up at the first drivers
23:28meeting with my brother writing down
23:30what kind of cars they had in Power Riders.
23:32We're pre-scouting. I've watched
23:34every round so far. I've seen strange
23:36things happen already. I've seen
23:38the slower car win more than once
23:40already. That tells me
23:42that the slower car could also win in the
23:44actual finals against me. I've really got to
23:46be on my toes and just do my job.
23:48I feel really good about it. Things are going right.
23:50We'll put a game plan together in a little bit.
23:52Let's do it, brother.
23:54All right.
23:56Our local
23:58four. Down to four.
24:00We're heading into the semi-final round
24:02here in Hebron, Ohio. Whoever
24:04comes out on top is going to win
24:06five grand and race our mystery
24:08outlaw, Doc. That gives
24:10them the chance to win an additional
24:12$5,000 with
24:14big time bragging rights. All right, buddy.
24:16Got the last chip. Stir it up.
24:18All right. Let's have our number one
24:20step up. There you go.
24:22All right. Got Ryan
24:24with a B versus
24:26our number
24:28twos.
24:30There we go. All right, Ohio.
24:32Your four hometown heroes
24:34right here.
24:36All right. We're going to
24:38go back to the pits. You guys get your cars ready.
24:40Second round,
24:42open zone.
24:48What are we going to do about this guy? We got the
24:50green car. I think we turn
24:52it down a little bit, turn the traction control on a little
24:54bit, just make an A to B pass.
24:56I think we have a pretty easy win. We're just going to have to slow it
24:58down and hope that it's enough to stay
25:00in front of him. Make a pass like we did before.
25:02He's going to get around us.
25:04I drew Irv. Second round.
25:06Seems like a nice guy. It's a fast car.
25:08I would say I have a little advantage with Irv.
25:10I make more power than he does,
25:12but power right now is not
25:14helping anybody. Sweet job, dude.
25:16Thanks. Hell yeah.
25:18Let's win. Four more cars.
25:20Four more.
25:22Two more races, two more wins.
25:24$5,000. I'd love to win the $5,000.
25:26Probably have to buy my wife something
25:28after being away for three days.
25:30Going
25:32into round two, I'm feeling real confident.
25:34I mean, I'm going to win.
25:36There's no question about it.
25:38Let's kick the tires, light the fires. Let's get it done.
25:40Kicking it off right here
25:42in Ohio.
25:46That didn't look healthy.
25:48Not very impressive.
25:50Does he want to do one more?
25:52Is that the burnout he wants? Okay.
25:54He's going to do it.
25:56I have my boy Irv over here.
25:58See if he can take down Hercules.
26:00Mr. B. Ryan.
26:02Local zombie.
26:04Season two.
26:06Parachute versus trunk.
26:08Let's see if they can get it done.
26:14Big jump.
26:20Camero
26:22takes it all the way.
26:24I think, you know, the street car
26:26over here in the Fairmont, that was all he had
26:28was to try to get him off the line.
26:30Plan backfired on him.
26:32I had one chance.
26:34I tried to guess the light, to try to get
26:36a two, maybe three-tenths advantage
26:38by just catching it on the green,
26:40and I just left too early. He caught it red.
26:42I knew I lost right off the bat,
26:44but I was like, I want to hold it down, see what happens
26:46anyways. If I would have made a good pass,
26:48I would have seen how close it would have been on the other end,
26:50but I got over into marbles a little bit
26:52and he really came around me.
26:54That thing, that car motors.
26:56That was fun. I mean,
26:58went a couple rounds, right?
27:00Hell yeah. It was awesome meeting you, man.
27:02Hope to see you in the future.
27:08What do you think about Bob's car?
27:10It's fast.
27:12We know that the car is capable of rolling.
27:14Oh, rolling really fast.
27:16We got
27:18the one guy that we were a little nervous
27:20before we even got here, Bob Morrison.
27:22Just a little worried about Bob coming up here
27:24because we knew his car makes a bunch of horsepower
27:26and he's been really fast, but you don't really know prep race
27:28very much, so we know first round
27:30he had trouble. We made a decent
27:32pass. I feel we have cleaner data
27:34than everyone else to use because we weren't out
27:36there just pulsing the gas,
27:38trying to get down the racetrack.
27:40If I can get it to go, if we can be,
27:42even if he's like this at the
27:4460 foot cone, I'll be okay, I feel like.
27:46So we got Caleb.
27:48He, I think, made the
27:50best pass of everybody last round, so
27:52should be a tough one,
27:54I think.
28:02All right. Mr. Bobby
28:04versus Caleb here.
28:06It's a night for Camaro's Mr. Clocked Out
28:08fabrication here in the right lane.
28:14Third generation Camaro
28:16versus fourth gen.
28:30Third generation Camaro
28:32versus fourth gen.
28:44Third generation Camaro
28:46versus fourth gen.
28:52Left lane is loose.
28:54Trying to find someone in the right lane.
28:56Third gen Camaro
28:58wins.
29:00Woo!
29:14Must be that mullet.
29:16And we are
29:18one step closer to
29:20see who's going to get
29:22the win of $5,000
29:24and
29:26we're going to figure out who the big tired
29:28mullet is.
29:30Let's go!
29:32Come on!
29:34Don't break my back!
29:36Yes!
29:38So now we got Brian Horskey
29:40in the final. We're kind of
29:42racing for a purpose here this weekend,
29:44so it's really exciting to be in the final,
29:46especially with Brian, he's just such a good dude.
29:48Trey's right there
29:50in the car with us, bud.
29:52Another one!
29:54To the finals!
29:56Thanks, dude. To the finals.
30:02All right, here we go. Final round.
30:04Locals only. Good luck to both of them.
30:06May the best man in the fastest car
30:08win. Let's be honest, it takes balls
30:10just to come out here
30:12and race your car. That's right.
30:14We love this. Left lane, Mr. Caleb
30:16in this black Camaro.
30:18Turbo versus turbo. I'm sure we got
30:20Chevy fans out there.
30:22Who likes the black third gen Camaro?
30:24How about the
30:26white fourth gen?
30:28All right.
30:30Let's see some small tire burnouts.
30:32Here we go.
30:40Little short
30:42and sweet burnout. Here we go.
30:44Racing for five grand.
30:46That ain't no chump change.
30:48A lot of strategy going into this.
30:50Both racers said they're not making any changes.
30:52They're going to make the same hit, if not better
30:54than they did last time. This is for all the
30:56marbles. Five grand.
30:58All the lying and crying is over.
31:00Final round. Locals only.
31:02Ohio!
31:16Both lead together!
31:18Oh, my God!
31:20Lock and door to door!
31:26Yes!
31:28It's the third gen in the left-hand lane!
31:30Takes the win!
31:34He stayed in that.
31:36He did.
31:38He did it!
31:40Oh, God!
31:42This is for you!
31:44A friend passed away in a bad bike accident,
31:46so we're really just here racing for him.
31:48We don't paint for funeral expenses, stuff like that,
31:50so this is all for you, Trey.
31:52Nice job.
31:54That was a race.
31:56I got a little loose.
31:58I was like, oh, stop driving to the center.
32:00Stop driving to the center.
32:02The cars were side-by-side all the way down the track,
32:04all the way until the end.
32:06We had to be bumper-to-bumper the whole way.
32:08Once the car got out of the groove, he pulled on me
32:10just a little bit and stayed that way.
32:12It was so close, so I'll own one next time.
32:14That was fun.
32:16That was cool.
32:18Man, what an experience.
32:20All right, Ohio.
32:22The stands are still full.
32:24You guys want to see some racing,
32:26and we're going to put on a show.
32:28We've got our winner.
32:30We know who that is, right?
32:32Your hometown hero, Caleb.
32:34Here we go.
32:36Let's hear some noise for Mr. Caleb and his crew.
32:38Team Clocked Out taking it all the way here
32:40to the final finals.
32:42Caleb is our local Ohio winner.
32:44He beat everybody he went up against,
32:46and he's going home with $5,000.
32:48But Caleb's night is not over, because there's one more race.
32:50He's going up against a street outlaw
32:52for another $5,000.
32:54This is now the time to reveal
32:56who that outlaw might be.
32:58Let's see who we got.
33:00It is Dog Club, Ohio!
33:02All right!
33:08Do you want to give this guy a race here tonight?
33:10Because the bear s*** it was.
33:12I've never seen it before,
33:14but I'm going to assume so, yes?
33:16That means yes.
33:18All right, so let the negotiations begin.
33:20Okay, I just want to remind the crowd
33:22that this is not a heads-up race.
33:24A race between any local
33:26and an outlaw is not an even match.
33:28All of the outlaws have much faster cars,
33:30so Caleb and Dog
33:32will need to negotiate
33:34for a fair race.
33:36This is an Ohio guy.
33:38You need some help?
33:40What's your name?
33:42We're not going to let him get out-hustled by a hustler.
33:44My name's Tony McKinney.
33:46I'm from Ohio.
33:48Tell us what you're looking for, Caleb.
33:50I'm not real sure, to be honest with you.
33:52Say it with your chest.
33:54Let's start him in the water box.
33:56Start him in the water box.
33:58We didn't say whether there would be water in there or not,
34:00but let's start him in the water box.
34:02Option A is we start him in the water box.
34:04Bottom line is I've got to start at the starting line.
34:06How about I just start on the starting line?
34:08They start on the 60-foot,
34:10their choice, front tire or back tire,
34:12and they get the hit.
34:14Give me 80 feet.
34:16That's just not fair.
34:18Your car's a second and a half faster than mine.
34:20Minimum.
34:22What about 75 feet?
34:24I just gave him 10.
34:2670 feet.
34:28There we go.
34:30Sorry,
34:32I'm going to try to wrap this up.
34:34You made the offer of 60 foot and the hit.
34:36The hit is worth 3 or 4 tenths.
34:38The 60 foot for you,
34:40you're about a 1-0 60 foot.
34:42If my math is correct, that's almost a second and a half,
34:44which matches where you're at
34:46with how fast you think his car is.
34:48If it was me,
34:50I would take what Doc is offering
34:52because that seems like a fair race
34:54because that is close to 1.5 seconds head start for you.
34:56You want to set him out and give him the hit?
34:58Yes.
35:0070 feet.
35:02Lock that up.
35:06Yo, yo, yo.
35:08What's up?
35:10It's maintenance your race car, guys.
35:12It's more than just checking tire pressure,
35:14oil,
35:16making sure you flash the tune.
35:18You got to pay attention to the small details.
35:20The little bolts,
35:22like that one right there,
35:24yeah,
35:26that one right there,
35:28it's also important.
35:30There's some bolts down in there.
35:32Them are important.
35:3410 millimeter nut and bolt comes loose.
35:36Things don't go right.
35:38Don't watch the quarter.
35:40I got new ones anyhow.
35:44I would take what Doc is offering
35:46because that seems like a fair race
35:48because that is close to 1.5 seconds
35:50head start for you.
35:52You want to set him out and give him the hit?
35:54Yes.
35:5670 feet.
35:58That's it. Lock that up.
36:00There we go.
36:02Ourselves an automobile race.
36:04After some tough
36:06negotiations, Doc and Caleb
36:08finally agreed to terms of the race.
36:10Caleb will put his car 70 feet
36:12in front of the starting line, but he's also getting
36:14the hit, which means that the race
36:16starts whenever Caleb leaves
36:18and Doc has to chase him down.
36:20I got the hugest cotton mouth
36:22right now. I know.
36:24It's something we've never done before. All the bottles are open?
36:26Yes.
36:28We're going to throw something at it
36:30and see what we can do.
36:34Just to be here and win the main race is cool.
36:36If we get lucky and win the second part,
36:38it's going to mean the world.
36:40Hey, let's take it straight to Trey's house.
36:42Yeah.
36:44I said, let's take it straight to Trey's house.
36:46That's right.
36:48Here we go.
36:50The moment we've all
36:52been waiting for.
36:54Locals only bottle right here, right now.
36:56History in the making.
36:58One more in the books.
37:00First one right out of the gate here in Ohio.
37:02This is Dr. Love to the starting line.
37:08Performance right here
37:10in the left lane.
37:27Average Joe
37:29versus Outlaw Pro.
37:31Let's see if your local only has what it takes
37:33to beat a professional driver.
37:35A lot of experience here in the right lane.
37:37Mr. Dr. Love
37:39has seen it all.
37:4170 feet is hitting the beam.
37:43Knock is on the starting line.
37:45For $5,000,
37:47locals only
37:49vinyl right here, right now.
37:51Knock versus your local.
37:57Oh, no!
38:03I can barely see.
38:05It looks like Knock
38:07put too much power on.
38:09Your local, Ohio,
38:11takes it home again.
38:13One more time.
38:15That just about
38:17got over the line.
38:19That's what I'm talking about.
38:21That's what I'm talking about.
38:23That's what I'm talking about.
38:25That just about got ugly.
38:35That was an amazing race.
38:40We broke all kinds of stuff.
38:42Oh, no.
38:44CO2 bottles flying around, starter going the entire time.
38:46Really?
38:48I thought it was rear end broke and I pulled a stop
38:50and I'm like, yeah, that's not it.
38:52You can't turn it off until out there.
38:54I stuck the tire from not being able to be on the brake.
38:56Immediate wheel stamp.
38:58Probably broke something on the wheelie bar.
39:00Shook the tires horribly.
39:02CO2 bottles flying around.
39:04I'm still racing as all this s*** going on.
39:06I ended up in his lane.
39:08Obviously, you know, I wanted to make a good show
39:10and I thought I could still beat him, you know.
39:12It's a drag race mentality.
39:14So obviously the stipulations went in his favor on that.
39:16He got the win.
39:18And my heart, my prayers and thoughts
39:20go out to your fallen friend
39:22and I would gladly give you the $5,000
39:24to give to that family anyway.
39:26So, carry on. You're doing a good deed.
39:28Hey, thank you, though.
39:30Thank you for giving me your friend's wife
39:32and all that kind of stuff. My condolences and prayers.
39:34Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
39:36Take care. Thank you.
39:38Man, what a day.
39:40What a day.
39:44Haley put down a great pass tonight
39:46which makes him another legend
39:48that has taken out an outlaw.
39:50He proved his driving skills
39:52and negotiation tactics.
39:54That's a clear formula for success
39:56for any racer that takes on an outlaw.
39:58Oh, man.
40:00Come on, fellas.
