00:42police commissioner Kylie Whiteley confirmed that a 71-year-old woman was behind the wheel
00:48and a 41-year-old woman was the passenger of the car that was involved in the bus collision.
00:53Virginia's family released a statement to Access Hollywood on April 1 with an update
00:57on her condition, writing, quote,
00:59Virginia thanks everyone for the outpouring of love and support.
01:02She is overwhelmed with gratitude.
01:04Today she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care.
01:08The statement also broke down what Virginia claims happened, writing, quote,
01:12On March 24 in rural West Australia, a school bus hit the car in which she was riding.
01:18The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene.
01:22They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their
01:26way to the hospital.
01:27The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children and left the scene to get them back,
01:31saying he would file a police report, which he did later.
01:35Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home.
01:37Virginia's condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital.
01:40Concerning her Instagram post, Virginia thought she had posted it on her private Facebook
01:44page.

01:49The update comes days after Virginia, who is known for accusing Jeffrey Epstein and
01:53Prince Andrew of alleged abuse, claimed she had four days to live after she was reportedly
01:57hit by a school bus driver.
01:59She shared a photo of herself in what appears to be a hospital covered in bruises on Instagram,

02:05This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won't bore anyone with the details.
02:10But I think it's important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110

02:21In her Instagram post, she also gave an update on her condition, writing, quote,
02:25I've gone into kidney renal failure.
02:27They've given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.
02:32I'm ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time.
02:36But you know what they say about wishes.
02:37S*** in one hand and wish in the other.
02:40And I guarantee it's going to be s*** at the end of the day.

02:55Virginia was a prominent accuser in the investigation into Epstein and Ghrelin Maxwell for allegedly
03:00sex trafficking underage girls.
03:02Maxwell is currently serving a 20 year sentence for recruiting and grooming teenage girls
03:06to be sexually abused by Epstein, per NBC News.
03:10Epstein was arrested on federal sex traffic and conspiracy charges in 2019 and was found
03:15dead in his cell in a Manhattan prison.
