00:07Teenage boy hospitalised after stabbing in Preston's Moor Park.
00:12A teenage boy was hospitalised after being stabbed in a park in Preston today.
00:17The boy was found with a stab wound after officers responded to a report of an assault
00:22in Moor Park area around 4pm. He was taken to hospital for treatment following the attack.
00:30A spokesman for Lancashire Police said an investigation is underway and is in its early
00:35stages. There is currently a road closure in place on Garstang Road.
00:42Former Blackpool doctor avoids being struck off by panel over one-off rape.
00:47A doctor who formerly worked at Blackpool Victoria Hospital has avoided being struck off
00:52despite a tribunal panel finding that he had raped a young woman in his home.
00:56Dr Aloi Foyyama, who was at the time a consultant at the hospital,
01:01had his medical licence suspended for 12 months for the attack on the woman
01:04instead of being struck off. Although Dr Foyyama denies raping the woman,
01:10the Medical Tribunal Practitioner Service concluded on the balance of probabilities
01:15that the attack had taken place. 450 new homes, a new school and park planned for Preston.
