00:00The Commission on Elections also confirmed that the official envelopes that will be used in the May 12 elections are protected.

00:08Patricia Lopez of IBC 13 has news for the country.

00:14It is vacuum-sealed, placed in a special box, and wrapped in bubble wrap.

00:20That is how the Commission on Elections ensures that the official envelopes that we will use for the May 12 elections are protected.

00:28The Commission has set a deadline of April 20 until May 5 to send these envelopes to various parts of the country,

00:36such as Visayas and Mindanao.

00:40First, the envelopes will be sent to Barm, Caraga, and Batanes,

00:45because these are faraway and difficult to bring the necessary items for the elections.

00:50In addition, envelopes for Luzon are currently under ballot verification,

00:56and once it is done, it will be placed under packing and shipping.

01:00The envelopes for CAR, Cordillera Autonomous Region 1, 2, 3, are not here.
