00:36They were trapped in a 12-story building

00:40called Sky Villa Condominium

00:42located in Mandalay,

00:44which is the closest city to the epicenter of the magnitude 7.7 earthquake.

00:49The Filipinos were searching for their family

00:52because they saw the brown jacket of Alexis hanging here.

00:57Under this sofa is the room of the couple

01:01on the 9th floor of Tower D.

01:03Their family prayed in Bae City in Negros Oriental

01:08for their safety.

01:10We lit a candle

01:13hoping for a miracle.

01:17Even though they are inside, they are still alive.

02:04who also lives in Sky Villa Condominium

02:06on the 6th floor of Tower D.

02:11based on the picture that was sent to Francis' wife.

02:14We don't know where he is,

02:16if he went out of the condo or if he is still trapped there.

02:19I have no idea.

02:22I just want to find him,

02:24to see him as soon as possible.

02:27Aside from Francis, Edsil, and Alexis,

02:29another Filipino is missing in Myanmar, according to the DFA.

02:33There are four accounted for.

02:36They are professionals, teachers, and office workers.

02:41According to their family,

02:42three Filipinos went to Myanmar to teach

02:46in an international school there.

02:48Francis will only be in Myanmar for a year.

02:51It's the first time we've been away for this long.

02:54He's been there for a year.

02:56We have four children, and two of them are still very young.

02:59We have a lot of bills and debts that we have to pay.

03:04So, we sacrificed

03:06to go away for a while

03:08so that he can go to Myanmar.

03:11But our plan is

03:13if it's okay,

03:15and we're almost done paying our debts,

03:19we can go with his family

03:21so that we can really go with him.

03:24The Adalid couple has been in Myanmar for two years,

03:27but they will move this February to Gumuhung Sky Villa Condominium.

03:39they are preparing to send 114 people to Myanmar

04:31It's the fourth day of the search for the missing Filipinos.

04:35for the possible whereabouts of the missing Filipinos?

04:46First of all, there are 300 Filipinos marked safe

04:50throughout Myanmar, including Yangon and Mandalay.

04:53About 120 confirmed that our teachers are safe.

04:58They are currently in schools,

05:02not just in schools,

05:04but even in the homes of the parents of their students.

05:08Of the four Filipinos,

05:10this is what we call unaccounted for.

05:12So we can't confirm this yet.

05:15But we've been trying our best since Friday night

05:18when it happened to look for them.

05:21In fact, as we speak,

05:24two hours ago, we already sent an advance team,

05:27a five-person advance team,

05:29two consuls,

05:31and our defense attache is also there

05:34to make an on-the-ground assessment

05:37and welfare checks for the Filipinos,

05:38particularly the four of them.

05:40So we won't give up

05:41until we know their condition and whereabouts.
