08:57According to ICC Spokesperson Dr. Fadi L. Abdala

09:00they have jurisdiction in the crimes that happened when the Philippines was still a member of the ICC

09:06So the court's jurisprudence has already indicated that the ICC retains jurisdiction

09:13even after the withdrawal of a state

09:16but only for the crimes that were committed during the period when the state was a state party

09:22to the ICC Rome Statute

09:24The withdrawal does not affect these obligations and this jurisdiction of the ICC

09:30It only affects the future

09:32If there is a question on how to arrest, the defense team can bring it to the court

09:38I can simply say if there is any challenge to the lawfulness and legality of the arrest

09:44it can be submitted to the judges and then judges will decide on that

09:47Every suspect can petition the ICC for interim release

09:51but there are conditions that must be met in order for this to happen

09:56As a matter of general principle, all these conditions and questions need to be discussed before the judges

10:04The technical measures and conditions have to be decided on a case-by-case basis by the judges

10:11and have to be accepted by a certain state for it to be ordered by the judges

10:16It has already happened in the past cases where an interim release has been ordered

10:22but it depends on the situation and the judges

10:25The ICC in the Philippines is thankful

10:28because it proved that the International Accountability Mechanism in the country

10:33was violating the diffusion request of the ICC

10:36The ICC also supported the spamming or trolling of the judges page of the ICC

10:44We understand that you want to remain focused in your work

10:47but even the spamming of the ICC judges pages does not alarm you at all

10:52We are all focused on only one thing

10:55which is delivering justice in the best conditions for the victims

10:59and to ensure that truth is revealed about the guilt or innocence of any person who is accused
