00:00Good morning to everyone. This is the latest weather update for Monday, March 31, 2025.
00:12At the moment, the low-pressure area we are monitoring is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:19But even though it is outside the PAR, it is still possible for rain to fall, especially here in the Kalayaan Islands and Palawan.
00:27Meanwhile, in the deep part of our country, the Easter Lease continues, or the hot wind coming from the Pacific Ocean.
00:36And because of the Easter Lease, it is still possible to experience rain, especially in the eastern part of our country.
00:42And if we can see here in our latest satellite animation, there are clusters of clouds that we can also see in the northern part of Visayas and Mindanao.
00:50These clouds are possible for rain to fall in the western sections of Visayas as well as the Mindanao area, as well as here in Palawan this morning.
01:00For the next few days, we expect that the low-pressure area outside the PAR will continue to melt or possibly melt.
01:08And the effect of this LPA will disappear in some parts of our country.
01:12So for the next few days, we expect the Easter Lease to melt in a large part of our country.
01:16This means that isolated thunderstorms will be more frequent, especially in the eastern sections of our country.
01:24So let's monitor the thunderstorm advisory issued by our regional services divisions.
01:30For the time being, here in Luzon, due to the effect of the Easter Lease, we expect rain here in Quezon and Bicol Region.
01:41Meanwhile, here in the Batanes area, we will also experience mild rains due to the effect of the northeasterly wind flow or the wind coming from the north coast.
01:52For the rest of Luzon, we will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions.
01:58If there are rains, these are just temporary thunderstorms that are more frequent in the afternoon and at night.

02:55And here in Zamboanga Peninsula.
02:58And here in some parts of Palawan, we also expect rains due to the effect of this low-pressure area even though it is outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
