00:00More than 600 people have lost their lives in the devastating earthquake in the neighbouring country of Myanmar.

00:10More than 1,670 people are injured.

00:13And in such a difficult time, India has started Operation Brahma.

00:17Under this, the Indian government has taken immediate action to help the people of Myanmar affected by the devastating earthquake.

00:25Tent, blanket, sleeping bag, fertiliser packet, safety kit, generator and with necessary medicines,

00:32our helicopter reached Yangon with 15 tonnes of relief supplies.

00:37Foreign Ministry Spokesman Randhir Jaiswal gave this information.

00:41And he said that the first help sent from India has reached Yangon.

00:47Before this, the Indian Air Force's C-130J aircraft with relief supplies from AFS Hindon had flown to Myanmar.

00:56Approximately 15 tonnes of relief supplies were sent to Myanmar in this aircraft.

01:01In which, tent, sleeping bag, blanket, food, water purifier, hygiene kit, solar lamp, generator set and necessary medicines

01:11such as paracetamol, antibiotics, cannula, syringe, cotton, bandage and urine bag are included.

01:19The earthquake that hit Myanmar on Friday, 28th March, 2025, wreaked havoc.

01:25Large buildings were damaged in many places.

01:28The situation is very serious in the whole country.

01:31In this, India has come forward to help the earthquake victims.

01:36India sent more than 15 tonnes of relief supplies to Yangon.

01:40It was sent by the Indian Air Force's C-130J aircraft.

01:43This aircraft flew from the AFS Hindon.

01:47Many essential items are included in the relief supplies.

01:50Tent and sleeping bag will give people a place to stay.

01:53Blanket will save them from the cold.

01:55Ready food and water purifier will solve the problem of eating and drinking equipment.

02:00And hygiene kit will help people stay clean.

02:03Solar lamp and generator set will provide light.

02:06People suffering from medicines will be treated.

02:08Paracetamol, antibiotics, syringe, cotton and bandages are included in the medicines.

02:13Many earthquake shocks were felt in Myanmar.

02:16One of them was of 7.2 magnitude.

02:19This damaged the buildings in Myanmar and Thailand.

02:23And people are afraid.

02:25According to the National Centre for Seismology, NCS,

02:294.2 magnitude earthquake struck in Myanmar on Friday.

02:33This earthquake occurred at 11.56 pm.

02:36NCS said that the depth of the earthquake was 10 km.

02:40There is a risk of shock after this.

02:43NCS also said that the earthquake occurred at 22.15 north latitude and 95.41 east longitude.

02:51India is standing with Myanmar in this difficult time.
