00:59Now, his counsel V. Suresh, he sought urgent relief citing multiple death threats that
01:06Kunal Kamra had received after airing of his new clip of the stand-up video of Naya Bharat.
01:13Justice Sundar Mohan said he is prima facie satisfied that Kunal Kamra is unable to approach
01:20the courts in Maharashtra for protection.
01:22The court was thus inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

01:34So Divyesh, while Mumbai police had insisted that Kunal Kamra should join investigations
01:39by the 31st of March, which is where the second summons were sent to him, but this is relief
01:45for the comedian.
01:47Well yes, Gaurav, Kunal Kamra's lawyer had approached the Madras High Court and stated
01:53or cited that he would be receiving death threats, he would be receiving multiple threats,
01:59multiple death threats and he would not be able to appear before the Khar police and
02:05sought anticipatory bail in the summons issued to him in the FIR registered against him at
02:10the Khar police station.
02:12Now after hearing the appeal, after hearing the application of Kunal Kamra for anticipatory
02:17bail, the bench of Justice Sundar Mohan has granted interim relief to Kunal Kamra till
02:26April 7th.
02:27Till April 7th, he has interim relief.
02:30Meanwhile, the Khar police had issued a second summons which asked him to appear by March
02:3731st in front of the Khar police station officials regarding the satirical video that
02:43they made where he had used some words which were objected for by the A-class Sindhi named
02:50Shiv Sena and Shiv Sena also filed the FIR against him.
02:54The FIR states that he spread false information, he spread rumours and he defamed Shiv Sena
03:02and Shiv Sena.
