00:59This is a non-banking financial company and the fine has been imposed on it due to not following the related rules under RBI Directions 2023.
01:09The Reserve Bank of India stated in its statement that KLM Exiva Finvest announced a profit for the financial year 2023-2024.
01:17It could not even meet the minimum requirements in the financial year.
01:21In this way, Rs 68,20,000 fine has been imposed on the Punjab and Sindh Bank.
01:26It has not followed the rules related to the centralised repository created for big shared risk in the banks,
01:32reaching to the banking services and the basic savings bank savings account.
01:39RBI works as a regulatory for the banking system.
01:43It is the responsibility of RBI to follow the banking guidelines.
01:48However, this fine imposed on the banks by the RBI will have no effect on the services of the customers.
01:55RBI stated in its statement that the reason for imposing a fine on the Punjab and Sindh Bank is that
02:00by collecting the information of big loans given by the banks at one place,
02:05by following the rules related to the centralised repository created for the banks,
02:08reaching to the banking services and the basic savings bank savings account.
02:11That is, by not following the rules related to the BSBDA, Rs 68,20,000 fine has been imposed.
