00:00Good afternoon from the Weather Forecasting Center.

00:03This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09Earlier at 2 p.m., the low-pressure area that we are monitoring in the eastern part of Mindanao continued to melt.

00:18We can see here in our latest satellite images that the clouds in the eastern part of our country

00:25are the remnants of the so-called low-pressure area.

00:31Due to the Easter lease and the remnants of the former low-pressure area,

00:36we will still experience dark times and heavy rains

00:41that will cause the area of Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Sakaraga to melt and freeze.

00:49Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and the other parts of our country,

00:52it will continue to be hot and foggy,

00:55but this afternoon and later tonight, there are still chances of sudden and rapid rains caused by localized thunderstorms.

01:03We are also expecting the possible erosion of our northeasterly wind flow

01:07or the wind coming from the north coast.

01:11It is possible that it will cause floods and rains here in the areas of Extreme Northern Luzon.

01:18For our forecast for tomorrow here in Luzon,

01:23due to the northeasterly wind flow, we will experience dark times and heavy rains

01:28here in the areas of Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

01:31Meanwhile, in the area of Legazpi or a large part of Bicol Region,

01:37we will experience dark times with heavy rains, floods, and landslides.

01:43For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,

01:45the fair weather conditions will continue.

01:47There are still chances of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.

01:53In the area of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

01:58we will experience improving conditions over Karaga tomorrow.

02:03Fair weather will continue starting tomorrow.

02:06However, the rain showers and landslides will continue here in the eastern section of Visayas,

02:11in the region of Eastern Visayas.

02:13We will still experience continuous floods and rains.

02:17Due to the possible erosion of the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ,

02:22the southern portion of Palawan,

02:24we will also experience scattered thunderstorms.

02:28This part of Maulap will continue until Maulap at Papawirin.

02:32This will be accompanied by heavy rains, landslides, and landslides.

02:36This cold portion of Visayas,

02:38here in Western Visayas,

02:40here in Negros Island Region,

02:42and here in Central Visayas,

02:44and also this large portion of Mindanao will continue
