00:08At present, the cold winds are still blowing in a large part of Luzon.
00:13And the shear line, where cold and hot winds are blowing,
00:17the effect is still continuing, especially here in the eastern sections of Visayas.
00:22If we can see here in our latest satellite animation,
00:25we can see a thick cloud that is affecting a part of Visayas and a part of Mimaropa,
00:33as well as the Bicol Region area.
00:35That thick cloud is the result of the effect of the shear line,
00:38so especially in the areas of eastern Visayas, as well as some parts of the Bicol Region,
00:43we expect a heavy downpour of rain today.
00:47Meanwhile, for the rest of Visayas, the weather will also be rainy,
00:50as well as in the provinces.
00:53Meanwhile, here in the eastern sections of Luzon,
00:56we will also experience a rainy season following the continuous effect of the cold winds.
01:01And here in Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the Luzon area,
01:05we still expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions.
01:09If there is rain, it will only be a temporary downpour of rain.
01:13And it is also possible for isolated thunderstorms for the rest of the country.

02:11we expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions.
02:13If there are rains, it will only get worse.
02:19Temperature forecast for neighboring cities here in Luzon,
02:22for Lawag, it will be 23 to 31 degrees Celsius,
02:26and maximum temperatures for Tuguegarao, Tagaytay, as well as Legazpi City,
02:31will reach 29 degrees Celsius.
02:34Here in Baguio, our temperature forecast is 15 to 24 degrees Celsius,
02:38and for Metro Manila, maximum temperatures will reach 32 degrees Celsius.
02:45It will be rainy season for the rest of the country,
02:48because of the continuous effect of the shear line,
02:50we expect the entire Visayas to experience a rainy season,
02:55as well as here in the northeastern portion of Mindanao, in the Caraga Region.
02:59Meanwhile, for Palawan and the rest of Mindanao,
03:02we expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions.
03:05If there are rains, it will be isolated thunderstorms.
03:09Just a reminder, here in the western sections of Mindanao,
03:12in Zamboanga area, as well as Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi,
03:16there is a high possibility of thunderstorms this morning,
03:21and when it comes to noon, in the southern portion of Palawan,
03:25there is also a high possibility of thunderstorms.
03:30Temperature forecast for neighboring cities,
03:32for Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa,
03:35will reach 33 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures.
03:38For Visayas, temperatures here in Iloilo will range from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:45At 30 degrees Celsius, maximum temperatures for Cebu and Tacloban.
03:49For Mindanao area, in Zamboanga, as well as Metro Davao,
03:53maximum temperatures will reach 33 degrees Celsius,
03:56and for Cagayan de Oro, it will range from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

04:05we expect heavy rainfall, especially in the eastern Visayas
04:10and southern portion of the Bicol region.
04:14So, it is possible to experience moderate to intense rainfalls
04:18in the next 24 hours.
04:20Here, in the eastern summer,
04:22the accumulated rainfall in the next 24 hours
04:25is possible to reach 100 to 200 millimeters.
04:29Here, in the eastern summer,
04:31and the area shaded by yellow,
04:34particularly in Sorsogon, Masbate, northern summer,
04:39in summer, Biliran, Leyte, and southern Leyte,
04:41it is also possible to experience 50 to 100 millimeters total rainfall
04:46in the next 24 hours.
04:48So, these areas shaded by yellow and orange,

05:23as of 5 p.m., heavy rainfall may continue.
05:28Heavy to intense rainfall in northern summer
05:32and areas shaded by yellow
05:34are still possible to experience moderate to heavy rainfall
05:38in Sorsogon, in summer, eastern summer, Biliran, and Leyte.
05:43So, double caution to our countrymen.
05:47Meanwhile, according to the heat index,
05:49yesterday, 35 to 36 degrees Celsius heat indices were recorded in Metro Manila
05:55and the highest in the country was experienced in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan
06:00which reached 42 degrees Celsius.
06:03It is followed by Cotabato City, Maguindanao which reached 41 degrees Celsius.
06:08And today, according to our forecast for Metro Manila,
06:11our heat index may reach 36 to 37 degrees Celsius
06:16and the highest today in the country is still possible to experience
06:21in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan which may reach 42 degrees Celsius
06:25and it is followed by 41 degrees Celsius in Coron, Palawan, as well as in Cotabato City, Maguindanao.
06:32In the condition of our ocean,
06:34the gale warnings are still high in the coastal areas of Ilocos Norte
06:39and in the coastal areas of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
06:42The area shaded in red may experience 2.8 to 4.5 meters high waves
06:49in the western coast of Ilocos Norte, northern and eastern coast of Catanduanes,
06:55eastern coast of Albay, eastern coast of Sorsogon,
06:58northern and eastern coasts of northern summer, and in the coastal areas of eastern summer.
