00:00Two cars in Caloocan City fell into the drainage that was not properly covered.

00:06It is possible that the drivers did not notice the hole that did not have a warning sign.

00:15That car was driving on the side of the street in Caloocan City when its first wheel fell into the drainage.

00:22The drainage was covered but it was fixed so it was not properly covered.

00:26According to the witness, the driver did not notice the hole.

00:29There was no warning device.

00:33But that car was not the victim.

00:35That same day, a pick-up fell into the same hole.

00:39That is just one of the box culvert type drainage in Mabini Street.

00:42The others were not properly covered and there were no warning signs.

00:46The Metro Manila 3rd District Engineering Office of DPWH confirmed their project.

00:51The holes were covered according to the workers.

00:54Supposedly, there should be an elevated hole at least visible to the eyes of the motorist.

01:04As soon as we found out that the situation is like that, we immediately fixed it with the contractor.

01:10This car in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, the wheels fell into the drainage project.

01:15The female driver did not notice that there was no cover.

01:18She placed rectangular blocks in the holes that will serve as drainage cover.

01:22The city engineer hurried to the contractor to place the cover on the line canals in the area.

01:27They were also paid for the damaged part of the car.

01:31The DPWH-Cebu 6th Engineering District has not yet announced the damage to the drainage project.
