00:27One of the reasons I'm putting tariffs on is

00:32BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz.

00:39I don't know if they take any of our cars.
00:41And they have non-monetary tariffs
00:43where it's impossible for us to sell a car,
00:46almost, in Europe.
00:48And so I understand what he's saying.
00:50Same thing with NATO.
00:51When I got involved, these mostly European countries,
00:55as you know, we had 28 at the time,
00:58and only seven were paid.

01:05or they were substantially less than they're supposed to be.
01:09And the United States was literally making up
01:12the difference in Europe, and it's very unfair.

01:15I didn't know he made that statement, but if he did,
01:17I mean, I'm okay with it.
01:19I complain about it all the time.
01:22The European Union treats us horribly on trade,
01:25and NATO has treated now.
01:28I raised a lot of money for NATO,
01:30hundreds of billions of dollars.
01:31You were here last week when the Secretary General said,
01:34without Trump, there wouldn't be a NATO,
01:36because I got them to pay money.
01:38It was unfair.
01:39The United States was paying 80%, 90%, 100%.
