00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning which is
00:04dry for most with some sunshine although first thing there are some mist and fog
00:09patches as well as some low cloud. High pressure extends across the country
00:14through Wednesday before this weather front moves in. Some heavier pulses of
00:17rain across Western Scotland weakening all the while as it sinks down towards
00:21the south. More rain on its way through Thursday, a stronger wind and the air
00:25turns colder. For the time being then this morning you can see where we're
00:29seeing that low cloud as well as those fog patches clearing quite quickly.
00:33Hazy sunshine across the north and the west of Scotland associated with this
00:37weather front moving in later affecting the Outer Hebrides. Elsewhere it's a fine
00:42day with some sunshine, any showery rain across Shetland first thing will clear.
00:46Temperatures will be a degree higher than yesterday coming in around 14, 15,
00:5116, 17 degrees Celsius but a breezy end to the day with a stronger wind across
00:55Western Scotland as that rain slowly moves in. And through this evening and
01:00overnight it will turn wet across northern and western Scotland, the far
01:03north and west of Northern Ireland. Elsewhere again we could see one or two
01:06fog patches as we head into Thursday morning with a lighter breeze
01:10particularly towards the south where it'll be a bit of a cool start to the
01:13day. But on Thursday some bright weather, some sunshine coming through, a mix of
01:17clouds and sun. This weather front here weakens we could see a bit more cloud
01:21across the far north of England and outbreaks of rain certainly for
01:24Northern Ireland and much of Scotland just coming and going with more
01:27persistent rain arriving later. The air here will be colder as those showers
01:32move in on Friday. Showers extend across Scotland and Northern Ireland. This rain
01:36will continue to affect eastern counties on Friday morning before it clears and
01:41in its wake again we'll see sunshine and a scattering of showers. Notice the winds
01:45towards the north as well as the west will be blustery and temperatures not as
01:49high. It's going to feel a lot cooler. Your outlook then into Saturday, some
01:53fine weather across England and Wales, always the chance of showers further
01:57north and temperatures 11 to 13 degrees Celsius. I'll see you later.
