00:00Leading on to Have I Got News For You, what do you think makes that show so special?
00:07Well, that's very flattering. I think it's the fact that the news goes on and on.
00:17So it's constantly refreshed. So even though you might think we've been on quite a long time,
00:23the news does change a lot and we get the chance to do it again.
00:28And also, it's turned into a soap opera. I've forgotten what category we're in tonight.
00:32But essentially, it's a soap involving two blokes who've been around a while.
00:39And who's been... well, we could say your favourite guests on there, obviously your worst.
00:44Well, my favourite guest was William Shatner, Captain Kirk from Star Trek,
00:50who had no idea who we were, didn't know any of the news stories,
00:55and was incredibly funny, and he actually sang. He just released an album.
01:00So I think he was probably both the best and the worst guest ever.
01:06What about, obviously, your role there as kind of holding these people to account?
01:11Is that it? Is that it?
01:13Is there a pressure on you, do you feel, or do you feel that's part of your duty to do that?
01:20It's a pleasure, really. And, you know, it's a great platform.
01:26And there aren't that many where you can say what you think.
01:30And I'm allowed to do that, and I do appreciate it.
