00:00If you have hope for this world, then, I mean, it's important to give f***s because if you have hope, then, like, you're gonna be the one to change it, but...
00:24I feel way too young to be a role model.
00:28I am nowhere near perfect enough or grown up enough or mature enough to be a role model.
00:43Maybe that's putting myself down, but I'm still getting used to the fact that there are more eyes on me now, and sometimes it comes with denial.
00:57So this is one of my birthday parties.
01:57That I exist and that my gender is valid and that I'm allowed to be comfortable when I use the restroom in public and encourages that.
02:12That's a great feeling.
02:27Frankly, where we're at in society right now, I think we need to be uplifting real people and people who deserve the representation that modeling can provide that a lot of intersections of people aren't getting.
02:57We have experiences that line up in some way, shape or form with our characters.
03:24I think from the get-go, we were able to bring those to these characters, which also made it incredibly personal.
03:33The show creator, Sam Levinson, basically ripped his soul open for this project.
03:40This is his story.
03:42So overall, it just becomes a very personal story, and with that comes the darkness.
