00:00The more, the merrier for the AFP if it will borrow another missile system from America that can target China.

00:08But the military has a clear intention in using that, pointed out by Chino Gaston.

00:18The Armed Forces of the Philippines is ready to receive another Typhoon Medium-Range Capability Missile or MRC

00:24that can destroy some missiles in the South China Sea, Taiwan and any part of the West Philippine Sea.

00:30They said that after receiving a message from the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command that it will send another MRC battery to the region.

00:39We can say that the more, the merrier.

00:42So the more assets that we have, the more also that we are able to train more personnel on our part.

00:48So we are accepting this willingly.

00:51To clarify, the AFP is not against any country's MRC.

00:55It's just a practice for them to be ready in case the Philippines buys it.

01:00The Philippine Navy was not surprised in sending this to the region.

01:05If you notice on the sea, air and land domains,

01:08we have increased our bilateral and multilateral activities with other countries.

01:12China has yet to say anything about this,

01:15but it was called a provocation by the Philippines by the former MRC

01:19that was used in a military exercise and in another unannounced location in Luzon.

01:25Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard confirmed that the Chinese Coast Guard has placed floating barriers

01:31in Bungan, Dagbaho de Masinloc, something they have done before.

01:35This is dangerous because it could hit the propellers of the boat or ship.

01:40According to the PCG, this is a timing for the ship of BIFAR and the Coast Guard of Crudo and Ayuda for the Filipino fishermen.

01:50They placed this barrier yesterday morning when they monitored a large number of Filipino fishing boats.
