As we mark five years since the first Covid lockdown, we ask locals what’s changed the most for them—personally, professionally, or emotionally—since that life-altering moment.

00:00My father passing away from the COVID, that's been the biggest change.
00:05Right at the end, when we were just getting out of it, he caught it and he passed away.
00:11So that was the biggest change, seeing it so close to me, the impact it's had.
00:16The one thing we notice, we're great walkers.
00:20We walk quite a long way each day.
00:23And I've noticed since lockdown, you see a lot more families out for family walk,
00:28getting their bus, and that's to lockdown, I think, that's startling.
00:33I loved lockdown. I was suffering from a bereavement.
00:37And actually the freedom, the lack of pressure, the empty streets, for me, were a real tonic.
00:43I probably go out more than I did before the lockdown.
00:47I don't think it's changed my habits much at all.
00:51Apart from some of my volunteering ended, and I haven't gone back into that volunteering.
00:56I'm doing other volunteering, but not that volunteering.
