00:32giving flowers or cards or gifts. And in the city of Bristol there is loads to do to celebrate
00:38the occasion, but how do locals mark the day?
00:41Oh no, it's a biggie, yeah. Mother's Day, Mothering Day, you know, slightly different
00:49meaning to those two ways of talking about it, but yeah. This year, the mum, the mother
01:00and the children, they're going to celebrate Mother's Day and I'm celebrating it myself,
01:11but I've been, listen dad, love you dearly, but we're just going to do it by ourselves.
01:17I do, because my girlfriend is, well she's not very well at the moment, she's a grandmother
01:22of two, three, two and a half, and I do worry about her.
01:28This year Mother's Day falls on the 30th of March and all around the city there are loads
01:33of fun things to do to celebrate and mark the occasion. Let's take a look at some of
01:38these things that are on offer in the city to mark the day and chat to Adriana from Bristol World.
01:44Next week is Mothering Sunday, which is obviously an iconic event that a lot of people celebrate
01:50their mothers and their motherhood figures, and in the city of Bristol there are loads
01:54of places where you can have some Mothering Sunday inspired food. So Adriana, can you

02:03Yes, well many restaurants across Bristol will be offering special Mother's Day menus
02:08to celebrate motherly figures, and some will even include exclusive gifts. For example,
02:14at Presso, the first two lucky families through the door to say Mamma Mia menu to the server
02:20between March 26th and 29th will receive a free meal for mum. At the Square Club, guests
02:26will be able to enjoy special two-course and three-course meals, and mothers will receive
02:31a complimentary pudding on Mother's Day. Vino will offer a unique twist on the classic tradition
02:38with an Italian afternoon tea for two with a bottle of Prosecco rose to share until March 30th.
02:45And from March 28th to 30th, the Ivy will offer a limited edition set menu featuring
02:52a special raspberry bloom parfait, complimentary tulips, and beautifully crafted dishes.
