The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies will be the dominant weather systems in the country over the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Tuesday, March 25.

00:00We are still monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:11But we have two weather systems that are affecting our country.
00:16First is the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ that is affecting southern Mindanao.
00:23The second weather system is the Easterlies or the hot and humid winds coming from the Pacific Ocean
00:30that is affecting a large part of our country.
00:34As of now, we have no effect of the North-East Monsoon or the Amian Wind in any part of our continent.
00:44For the time being, if we see anything here in Luzon,
00:48we will experience a hot and humid afternoon until the afternoon
00:52where there is a chance of quick rains and localised thunderstorms when it comes to the afternoon and evening.
00:59There is a high chance of localised thunderstorms especially here in the eastern section of our country.
01:05The temperature for Metro Manila and Legazpi is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
01:11For Baguio, it is 15 to 25 degrees Celsius and for Tagaytay, it is 21 to 32 degrees Celsius.
01:25For the Samuanga Peninsula, Bangsa Moro, Sok Sarjen and Davao Region,
01:30we expect that there will be a chance of quick rains and localised thunderstorms
01:36like the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCC.
01:41Meanwhile, we expect that here in Palawan, the whole of Visayas and a large part of Mindanao,
01:47they will also experience a hot and humid afternoon until the afternoon

02:00The temperature for Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:14For Cagayan de Oro, it is 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:24For our heat index yesterday, yesterday in Metro Manila, we recorded 34 to 36 degrees Celsius.

02:35The highest we recorded was 43 degrees Celsius here in Dagupan City, Pangasinan

02:45For today, we still expect that the hottest we can record
02:50is still here in Dagupan City, Pangasinan with 43 degrees Celsius
02:54and 42 degrees Celsius here in Camarines Sur.
02:57In Metro Manila, we expect that our heat index will be between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.
