The Island (2005) is a science fiction thriller directed by Michael Bay. The story follows Lincoln Six-Echo, a resident of a highly controlled facility in the mid-21st century. Believing that they are survivors in a post-apocalyptic world, the inhabitants dream of being chosen to go to "The Island," the last uncontaminated paradise.
