A People's Liberation Army-Navy warship, five China Coast Guard vessels, and four Chinese maritime militia vessels were spotted during a maritime domain awareness (MDA) flight by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Bajo de Masinloc, West Philippine Sea on March 24, 2025.
The PCG and BFAR distributed fuel subsidies and food packs to 26 Filipino fishing boats as Chinese vessels installed a barrier at the entrance of the shoal to prevent the latter from entering. (via Martin Sadongdong | MB)
